He and lead singer, Amy Nodwell, met via MySpace way back in 2007, and after years of writing, recording, and playing shows, followed by an eight-year hiatus, the pair have finally reunited to record and release their debut single, "You I Love", to Canadian country radio. Amy and Scotty join The Show co-host Amy Aust to discuss the magic of the writing room, the origin of their shiny new band name, COVID Christmas plans, and creating their debut music video with no crew or equipment.

Season Three, Episode Nine: Over the past few years, Tim Hicks has emerged as one of Canada's favourite live acts. His hits "Get By", "Here Comes The Thunder", and "Stompin' Ground" have become staples on festival stages across the country, and the viral smash "Stronger Beer" has been adopted by many Canadians as their unofficial national anthem. Tim has earned a slew of industry awards, a collection of Gold and Platinum certified singles in Canada, and he's showing no signs of slowing down. Tim joins us from his home in St Catharines Ontario to chat about growing up wanting to be a musician, having the all-important backup plan, playing chicken wing bars, and eventually "making it".

Season Three, Episode Eight: Bigg Vinny is truly one of a kind. A founding member of the Trailer Choir, Vinny and his bandmates Butter and Crystal signed with Toby Keith's record label, Show Dog, then proceeded to rocket to stardom with their hit "Rockin' The Beer Gut." The then 400+ pound hype man wound up in the hospital with complications from Type 2 Diabetes, and he was forced to make some major lifestyle changes after having emergency surgery. He then participated in The Biggest Loser, losing 250+ pounds while on the show, and has since completely transformed himself. He continues his pursuit of music with Trailer Choir, and The Nashville Cartel, he is a personal trainer, author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, husband, and father of two. Vinny joins us from Nashville to discuss all this and more, and we know you're going to love him as much as we do.

A first time nominee for Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards this weekend, she will also be a performer on the drive-in style show in London. Nicole also spearheaded HarmoniaFest, a drive-in festival featuring an all-female country lineup back in August. She joins us from her home in Alliston Ontario to talk about all that, plus her first taste of the stage singing in a high school production of Footloose, producing music with Douglas Romanow and Brian Howes, and writing with Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

S03E01: Amanda Power has been working in various aspects of the country music industry for many years, and she is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Unison Benevolent Fund. Unison exists to provide relief to members of the Canadian music community in times of crisis. With the whole of the music industry shut down in the wake of COVID-19, we thought we would take a break from the norm here at the show, and talk about this incredibly important organization. If you're working in the music industry, we'll fill you in on how to receive financial support from Unison, and if you're a music fan, we'll tell you how you can support this wonderful cause. We also dive in to the time Amanda spent working with the Canadian Country Music Association, the Country Music Association of Ontario, and World Vision.
