Aside from all that, Scotty is a singer/songwriter/producer/graphic artist, with a solo record, five singles, and a CCMA Award nomination under his belt. Scotty set aside his hosting duties this week to sit down with Amy to discuss his time in the business, developing artists, his transition to becoming a full time artist, and recently being featured in American Songwriter and Billboard magazines through his work with contemporary bluegrass artist, Callie McCullough.

Season One, Episode Eight: Dan Davidson took the Canadian country music scene by storm in 2016 with his mega-hit single "Found". Since then, Dan has established himself as a creative powerhouse, not just through his music, but through his hilariously inventive music videos. The former frontman of the rock band Tupelo Honey, Dan reinvented himself after his friend and fellow rocker-gone-country, Dallas Smith, encouraged him to give it a shot. Dan joined us from his studio in Edmonton to talk about his digital music festival, Diesel Bird (the first of its kind in the wake of COVID-19), dressing up in a tight white suit to shoot a music video in Japan, and being at the epicentre of a line dance craze in France.

Andrew Hyatt was named an “Artist To Watch” by Entertainment Tonight Canada. The Sudbury native is a healthy mix of rebellion and respect-for-tradition. Hyatt was one of the Top 10 most played Canadian artists at country radio in 2018. Winner of the 2018 CMAO Rising Star Award, and nominated for Male Artist of the Year in 2019, Hyatt was also crowned the winner of SiriusXM’s Top of the Country competition last September. Andrew joins us from self-isolation at his home in Sudbury to talk about life since COVID_19, puppies, home renovations, and proving a high school teacher wrong. Also, is Paul Rudd dead?!
