On Wednesdays, the Plastics wear pink but #TheShowKC wore matching Charlie Hustle shirts! On Wednesdays, we always play Gen X vs. Millennial, Shaylee the Millennial took on a member of Generation X! Jen is traveling to the Grand Canyon next week and has a fear of her or one of her kids falling into the Grand Canyon, this led to the topic of irrational fears! A round of Google Predicts was played! And did Mr. Boombastic, Shaggy slide his way into Shaylee's DMs? Yes!

While mowing her lawn, Jen discovered that her neighbor(s) and their dog(s) left her a very unwelcome present, which is a very solid vent and #TheShowKC had the vent line open for you as well! The voice of the Kansas Jayhawks, Brian Hanni called in to talk about the Rock Chalk Roundball Classic, happening June 14-16! We have two real headlines and one fake headline, your job is to find the fake headline in a game of Trick or Trending!

A bit of breaking news to start this week off...KU fired their athletic director. A sign of changes to come in the football program? The gang also talks about the Royals and St. Louis vs. KC; is the Triple Crown really that big of a deal? Sporting KC stays winning; Vegas in the NHL finals.

Our friend Ashley called into #TheShowKC because someone tried to steal her credit card information, which led to the topic of what have people tried to purchase with your stolen information! It's Throwback Throwdown day on #TheShowKC! Today we learned two things, one, Sting & Shaggy will be coming to the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland on October 4th and  two, Truta does a fantastic Shaggy impression! It's gradutation season and #TheShowKC discussed graduation dress codes and etiquette! Jen asked people on the street the tough questions and it was up to listeners to guess what the response was going to be in a game of Man on the Street!

The internet is wondering whether an audio clip is saying the name "Laruel"or "Yanny." #TheShowKC also pondered and invited people to weigh in one what name they are hearing! It's Gen-X vs. Millennial day on #TheShowKC, and it was up to a member of Generation X to take on Shaylee the Millennial! We received a call from a woman that won a gift certificate to Smitty's Garage from Jacqui Lucky and the winner described it as a "man magnet." Off air we discussed some of the best places to meet good looking singles in Kansas City and Truta's answer made us bring it to #TheShowKC!

#TheShowKC had the honor of announcing two of the celebrities that are coming to Kansas City the weekend of June 1st for Big Slick, Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live, 12 Years A Slave, Hamilton) and Lee's Summit's own, Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters, Maze Runner, Happyland)!

#TheShowKC also opened up the Vent Line for your Tuesday morning! A game of Trick or Trending was played and we learned more about door pants!

It was a wild day on Monday Funday with topics and conversations that bounced from one thing to another. We started with NASCAR at the Kansas Speedway this weekend and a semi-breakdown of the action courtesy of Mike. On a football note KC's new quarterback, Pat Mahomes, has embraced his new role and has been showing up at all of the big city events. Mahomes was seen at the NASCAR race, a recent concert and other great places. We talk some Royals, a little Sporting KC and some golf. Then, a big discussion about the Supreme Court ruling that national sports gambling is open to the states. And an ever bigger discussion about karaoke closes the show.

#TheShowKC is back for a new week today! Jen said that her brother purchased a boat over the weekend, which led to the topic of items you know were expensive but decided to purchase! Truta is really excited for the upcoming Royal Wedding, even if his invitation was lost in the mail and Jen found a list of rules that the Royal Family have to follow! A round of Think 'N Sync was played, #TheShowKC might not have got the most correct answers but they did for the first time have two members of #TheShowKC shoulder shrug 'N Sync!
