In this episode I sat down with Matti Feldman. He recently earned his degree in engineering while working in real estate investment and about to start his MBA program. Then, the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7th. Several weeks ago, Matti was released from his reserve duty in the IDF.  Hear him share his experience being in the army, handling missions in Gaza and risking his life so defending the Jewish homeland.

In this episode I sat down with Bayla Haskell. She is the founder of Veg.it.Out a vegan meal delivery service based in Israel. 

Bayla’s father was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away from the disease, the same disease her grandfather had passed from several years earlier. Bayla, reeling from from loss, was frustrated that there were little medical advancements to cancer treatment and prevention. She realized that plant based eating is beneficial to health. She started her company to make vegan food more accessible and provide a healthy option to the vast array of take out and fast food market.

We talk about the challenges of being a mother in business and how to balance the demands of a career and motherhood.
