The Sideline Heat

It's Day 1 of The Championships at Royal Randwick on Saturday afternoon and that means we've got four massive Group 1 races to sink our teeth into. First we review last weekends demolition job from Prowess in the Vinery Stud Stakes, The old timer Cascadian getting the job done in the Australian Cup, plus of course the Tancred upset as Arapaho found Group 1 glory for the first time. Then it's all about The Championships. Sires Produce, TJ Smith, Doncaster Mile and Australian Derby all setting up an epic weekend of racing. We go into all our bets for the races along with our best bets across the weekend, here in Australia and maybe a bet or two across the ditch. Put the feet up and as always, good luck on the punt.

It's Golden Slipper Day! The boys are ready and fired up to find some winners on the massive day of 5 Group 1's out of Rosehill plus the All Star Mile at Moonee Valley. We launch straight in with a review of In Secret in the Newmarket from last weekend along with Espiona taking out the Coolmore Classic. From there it's all about Saturday as we talk Rosehill Guineas, Ranvet Stakes, George Ryder, Golden Slipper and The Galaxy. Autumn is in the air punters as we have two phenomenal meetings to breakdown at both Randwick and Sandown this Saturday. The 2yo's step out in the Inglis Millenium to snag some major prizemoney on their way to the Golden Slipper. While we have some key returners in both the Little Fingers and Apollo Stakes. It doesn't stop there with some amazing racing in Melbourne as we have the first Group 1 of the Australian racing calendar, the C.F. Orr Stakes over the 1400m at Sandown. It's time for a mammoth edition of the 20MTP Podcast as the team have put together a two for one special! The first hour is dedicated to looking back on all the best (and worst) of 2022 in racing. The best horses, best steers and best trainers all get a look as we deep dive into what was an epic year of racing in Australia and around the world.
