We just love these two so it's a little longer than most episodes. Enjoy!
From our Instagram video podcast series 13/08/2021
Wowee are we excited! Four new @aflwomens teams joining the competition for the 2022/23 season! So, of course, we had to speak to the one and only @bectheicon.
We were positively blushing to get the opportunity to speak to the inaugural AFLW premiership coach who has just been announced as the senior coach for @hawthornaflw. She is back!
We also shout it out to our faves at @theoutersanctumpodcast who are now independent and back in your ears twice a week! How good!
And, if you loved hearing from Bec and want more, we really enjoyed her episode of ‘Cutting Oranges with @darcyvee’ that you can also find where all good podcasts live.
This audio is from a video series uploaded to our Instagram every Friday (or Saturday) night as an alternative to watching half time analysis of whichever football game is on. From 07/08/2021
This week we are feeling the exhaustion and burn out of lockdown 6 in Victoria and a disillusioning time in football with racism and sexism seemingly all around.
We, do, however have the pleasure of talking to the incredible Felicity Harley who has spearheaded the movement to reunite Sydney based staff and players with their families after long separations in 2021.
We hope everyone is staying home and staying safe. ❤️
@felicityharley
This is the audio from our video chat with Shelley Ware that was shared on The Significant Others Podcast Instagram page 23/07/2021.
This week we check back in with one of our first ever podcast guests @shelley_ware.
When we spoke to Shelley a year ago, she was working on a submission to the Attorney General asking for harsher penalties and more accountability for those posting hate speech online. And, with her hard work becoming law just a few weeks ago, and another week of horrible racial abuse directed at AFL players, families and across the lower and local leagues too, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to check back in with this incredible change-maker.
Our video content from Instagram of Friday Night Footy with Meg Hutchins and Steph Carroll and Amy Burgoyne on 01/07/2021
For any listeners not following on Instagram we have shifted to putting up some video content on a Friday Night as alternative viewing at half time of the AFL games.
This was the third instalment of Friday Night Footy chats which was split between a conversation with Meg Hutchins and her wife Steph Carol and Amy Burgoyne.
We discussed Megs retirement from her football career of 250 V/AFLW games and the special on field celebration after kicking a match sealing goal.
The second interview with Amy Burgoyne was ahead of her husbands Shaun Burgoyne's 400th AFL game. A massive achievement that she has watched and supported for over 20 years.

It’s the final episode of season 2! Wowee that came quickly!
In this episode we review our chat with business queen Emily McKay, including her path to success and that topic that we can never escape- the media (both traditional and social).
But we can’t have this conversation alone, so we welcome to the microphone internet superstar, writer, speaker and appearance activist Carly Findlay.
Carly runs us through her history of internet connection and we chat about our highs and lows of social media engagement.
Carly is absolutely stacks of fun! We hope you enjoy this chat as much as we did!

On the review this week we are joined by Michelle Andrews, co-producer and co-star of the incredibly popular podcast 'Shameless' alongside Zara McDonald.
Michelle helps us break down some of the themes that emerged from our interview this week with climate activist and conservationist, Emma Pocock.
We are honoured to have her input and experience as a journalist as we delve into the media landscape, the misogyny of clickbait headlines and the sensationalising of personal stories.
Michelle also tells us about her very exciting week - including getting engaged (!!) and we of course chat a little bit of footy with the Richmond Tigers faithful.
You can follow Michelle at @michelleandrews, Shameless at @shamelesspodcast and listen to the episode of 'Scandal' referenced in this discussion at https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-slut-shaming-of-lara-bingle-part-one/id1352875216?i=1000518560438.
