The Silver Scream

Welcome to the Silver Scream, a podcast where two friends (and sometimes more friends) try to find some good werewolf movies. Megan is a former Twi-hard and current volunteer at the California Wolf Center in Julian, CA. Previously, Megan guested on our episode about Red Riding Hood (2011).

Other topics of discussion include: Salty feelings about Saltburn, cult documentaries, The Holdovers, Cullen-family conspiracies, and more!

Welcome to the Silver Scream, a podcast where two friends try to find some good werewolf movies. For the month of January 2024, we are marathoning thee iconic Twilight saga! Starting us off is Catherine Hardwicke's 2008 film, "Twilight," - a film that features basically no werewolves (but a few werewolf allusions). This series gets werewolf heavy after this film, but we cannot in good conscious skip over it! Enjoy the hilarity along with us and check out The Twilight Saga all month long.

Other topics of discussion include: recent movies watched, books read, and more!

Welcome to the Silver Scream, a podcast where two friends try to find some good werewolf movies. This week we watched Wolves (2014), but, honestly the meat of this episode is about how much we both hated David Gordon Green's re-quel The Exorcist: Believer (2023). We spent a lot more time discussing that film than we did with Wolves. This is our most rancid episode yet! Enjoy.

Spoiler discussion on The Exorcist: Believer (2023) is from 5:09 to 36:47 followed by our discussion Wolves (2014).

Welcome to the Silver Scream, a podcast where two friends try to find some good werewolf movies. This week we watched Blood and Chocolate (2007), directed by Katja von Garnier; Starring Hugh Dancy and Agnes Bruckner. This film barely predates the Twilight movie phenomenon, but it is based on a book of the same name.

Other topics of discussion include: Attempting to watch The Exorcist: Believer (2023), The Boys TV show (mild spoilers), Hugh Dancy's American accent, and an explanation of what makes Blood and Chocolate different from the book (quite a bit actually).
