Confusing COVID-19 response from the Australian Government.

The definition of a close contact has been redefined and now only covers household or intimate contacts who spent more than four hours with a positive case.

Yes, that really makes sense. Someone obviously hasn't thought this through properly.

Of course the Western Australia Government is just doing the opposite of anything the Federal Government does.......

So nothing new there.

Other States are trying to transition into 'learning to live with Covid' which seems to be the catch cry of the media.

And the media are still telling us we are all doomed unless we are vaccinated, with a booster (and a booking for your next booster while you are there).

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Federal MP George Christensen really ruffled the feathers of our Far Left Media (basically everything ABC and The Project) along with fellow Political figures.

The fact that he was so arrogant (not my opinion) as to appear on info Wars with Alex Jones was cause for the ABC Breakfast team to utterly lose their minds. 

The indignation coming through the breakfast show camera was palpable.

Everyone from ScoMo down was called upon to condemn the intolerable George Christensen.

The main reason was, during his appearance, Mr Christensen laughed when Jones compared Australia’s COVID quarantine facilities to the Nazis’ Auschwitz concentration camp from World War II.

Now to be clear, I do not agree with this comparison (at least as far as the facilities are used at the moment) and I don't believe it was a wise thing to say.

However the bigger picture that our Far Left ABC media and our politicians are overlooking is, why.

Why are so many other political commentators looking at Australia and questioning why we have so easily taken up some of the draconian measures that we have.

For a free and democratic nation, the more concerning question is, what if Jones and others of his ilk are correct.

What if Australia is racing toward a totalitarian regime and we are denying the truth because we don't won't to admit we may taken a wrong turn at Democrat Street and Despot Avenue?

This is just my opinion.

The trouble with all of this Artificial Intelligence, is even MUSK has some serious concerns regarding it's use and its future intertwined with ours.

Elon Musk thinks advanced AI technology is more dangerous than nukes and maybe the end of the human race.

According to him, people don’t know how dangerous advanced AI is, and within the next few years, with how fast the development of AI is going, we either arrive at a point where AI takes over or the human race goes extinct.

So the big question is......

Do we just go along with this and trust that these scientists/tech experts know what they are doing?

Or as a society do we need to be questioning this more and insisting on greater safeguards or even questioning the necessity of tech attached to our brains.

I don’t know how to explain this other than vaccine-caused mortality.

Politicians behaving little teenagers.

We should be able to expect more from these public servants.

Victorian senator Lidia Thorpe late last night apologised to senator Hollie Hughes and the Senate for comments she directed at the Liberal earlier in the day.

Multiple senators have told the ABC they heard Senator Thorpe yell, "Well at least I keep my legs closed," at Senator Hughes during a heated parliamentary debate.

Then some more news about Omicron

Moderna says existing vaccines will be much less effective at tackling Omicron and warned a variant-specific jab could be months away.

Moderna, US drugmaker Pfizer and the backers of Russian vaccine Sputnik V have all announced that they are already working on an Omicron-specific vaccine.

Are we going to need a new vaccine every time a new variant comes along?
