Shhhh, here's some special secret information for the hardcore listeners, concerning the Slump Live 200th Show thing. I mean, I don't know why we're keeping it secret - we want everyone to turn up. Anyway, we'll be talking about it more loudly and openly soon, but we thought we'd give the information to the dedicated listeners first. So here you are...

It's almost the 200th show, and the chaps have a special announcement for you, for in this very episode we reveal the date and location of the special live Slump. I mean, we put the date on Twitter too, but the audio announcement is better.

What do you talk about on a post-Brexit podcast? Why, the same utter nonsense you normally talk about - God knows the rest of the media is depressing enough, so let's forget about it all, with some talk of men, dinosaurs, Germans, and great big holes in the ground.

(This is now updated with the missing link added, which I'd somehow left out of the original episode...)We recorded this before we knew the outcome of the EU Referendum, so it's a strange snapshot in history of a time when nobody knew what the hell was about to happen. That doesn't mean there's anything remotely factual or newsworthy about it though, au contraire...

The Slump return once more to record the nonsense that comes out of their minds and mouths. This week discussing such rich topics as Russian Spidermen, the best music for being tattooed and why it's best if drinking vessels are waterproof.

It's a technology-heavy podcast this week, (in fact, there's so much technology that in the last couple of links there were some strange popping sounds that I don't know the origin of). Anyway, there's tech, there's chat and there's a mention of both Craig David and Brian Harvey. Bosh.

I normally write this bit earlier in the day, but for various reasons, it's much later than normal, and I've had a drink or two. I was also busier than normal at work today hence the delay in publication and the admission of drinking, but despite all that, this here Slump still contains your weekly dose of nonsense and goodness, so close your eyes and drink it right down...

The men are feeling manly, and they're ready to smash the place up, (metaphorically speaking that is, for they're still pretty lazy). There are also sinkholes, elderly clubbers and some utter nonsense from the corporate world.

Dan has found he has a special gift, but then it turns out that everyone else does too. Ian also has a special gift, but it's one he doesn't like very much. Brendan probably also has a special gift, he's just being modest about it, so we don't know what it is.

It's an almost entirely listener-generated podcast this week - not because we've been spending too much time looking at Kickstarters or anything like that, just because this week you had more to say than we did, so we talked about the stuff you sent us instead. We think you'll like it though. I mean, otherwise, why would you have sent us in the stories?
