We kick off the pod by discussing all things college football. In our reaction to the SEC Championship game Kyle made a comment that had Tide fans hot and bothered. We address his comments regarding Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. Mario Cristobal made headlines when he officially agreed to become the next coach for the University of Miami. The Hurricanes have been a shell of their former self under former head coach Manny Diaz, can Cristobal bring them back to national relevance in a weak ACC? Who will be the next coach for Oregon, Chip Kelly? Joe Brady?

This coming Monday on the @slumpbusterpodcast Instagram account Kyle will drop his updated NBA Power Rankings. The Phoenix Suns have been on absolute fire, tied for the league lead in wins with victories over Brooklyn and Golden State. How high will Phoenix climb? Chicago hasn't slowed down yet, will the Bulls be a Top-5 team? With Michael Porter Jr. out indefinitely with a back injury will Denver be able to fend off teams like Dallas, the Clippers and Memphis for a Top-10 spot? We give out weekly Los Angeles Lakers update as we ask how much blame does Anthony Davis deserve? Will LeBron outlast Davis in Los Angeles?

Quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes continues to burn fantasy owners this season. Mahomes has had only one Top-5 finish in his last eight games. Luckily or maybe perplexingly, it came against this weeks opponent the Las Vegas Raiders. Should you start Mahomes? Will Russ finally cook against Houston? Running Backs: The backfield in Dallas continues to trend towards a split as the season progresses. In a running back committee, will it be Ezekiel Elliott or Tony Pollard that shines brightest? We kick off the pod by diving into Kyle's most recent NBA Power Rankings. Currently the Washington Wizards sit as the third seed in the Eastern Conference but 12th in our rankings. Are the Wizards underrated and why the exclusion from the Top-10? #Wizards

Speaking of rankings, the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released as such 1. George, 2. Michigan, 3. Alabama and 4. Cincinnati. The possibility of Cincinnati getting bumped for a potential Big-12 Champion Oklahoma State Cowboys looms as does Alabama making it with two losses. Michigan got the big victory against a rival but are they bound for an upset against Iowa? What will the final CFP poll look like on Bowl Selection Sunday?

Aside from the rankings, college football had massive change at the head coaching position for two institutional powers. Lincoln Riley shocked the world Sunday when he announced he would be leaving to Southern California. Riley will get a decade long deal to be the coach at USC and looks to bring the program back to national relevance again for the first time since Pete Carroll left. Brian Kelly made a splash as well leaving the Fighting Irish and heading to LSU. LSU is merely two years removed from a national championship but experienced a falling out with Ed Ogeron. Can Kelly excel in the South Eastern Conference? #CollegeFootball

Major League Baseball has released the names of individuals debuting for the first time on the Hall of Fame ballot. Some notable first time names include Tim Lincecum, Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder and Jimmy Rollins. While those players are eligible for the first time there are gigantic names eligible for the last time. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling will be on the ballot once more and then no longer. Bonds and Clemens have been withheld from the hall due to their involvement in baseballs fabled Steroid Era. Schilling, a multiple time World Series Champion, has been under fire for his political beliefs. Will this be the year Bonds, Clemens and Shilling finally get inducted into immortality? Kyle & Ju-Ju give their 10 names they would give votes toward.

Should the Texas Athletic Department considering a short tenue for Sark as they look to get back to national prominence? This is the first time in College Football history an unranked team has beat two teams in the Top-5 by double digits. Will Ohio State be on upset alert going against the hot Boilermakers? Our next segment Ju-Ju laments over the failures of the San Francisco 49ers. Kyle Shanahan is the owner of a 31-39 win-loss record in his time as an NFL head coach. His record has entirely been accrued in his time in San Francisco. Is Shanahan on the coaching hot seat following a 31-17 beat down by the Arizona Cardinals. In that game the Cardinals were missing Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, J.J. Watt and others. Does this speak to a bigger problem with Shanahan, John Lynch and within the 49ers ownership?
