If you don’t have any sort of lead magnet for your business, you’re missing out on sales! It’s one of my high priority content marketing tasks with my clients, straight after ‘sorting out your email”
So today I’m working with my client Julie from Thinking Caps in a live coaching session to help her (and you) work out how to choose a great topic, what the structure of it needs to be like, how to organise the content, and then how to set it up (including what platforms I recommend)
Learn alongside Julie, and get inspiration for your own lead magnet (lead generation) resource. If this “to-do” is not high up on your list, you’re missing out! And I don’t want you to miss out.
Julie is the co-founder and director of Thinking Caps. Her main role is the onboarding of new tutors and new students. Julie is fiercely passionate about finding the right ‘study buddy’ tutor for your child. This means getting to know a bit about them and their interests… not just their learning needs. She uses this information to match your child with just the right study buddy – one who will really ‘get them’ and be a wonderful guide and mentor, as well as providing them with excellent learning.
Join me and Julie as we work together to create a plan, get inspiration and work through the tricky bits of creating a lead generation resource that’s going to help her attract her ideal clients, and grow her business
We are doing this over a three part series - today’s session was on how to choose the right type of lead generation, and how to write it/ structure it, along with the landing page, and the contact form

We’re part three on the mission to find out where you can work on your content marketing (and we’re focusing on social media content for this episode)
In this episode we’re focusing on the NOTICED stage. This is the moment that people discover you, and who you are. This is your chance to shine.
We need to make sure when someone notices us, they stick around. This means our bio needs to be clear, and the rest of our content needs to be a good fit. (This is what we’ve covered in the previous two episodes).
This was traditionally the part where I’d have taught you to put all your “how to” content - but there’s been a shift and the old HOW TO content we used to love is not building trust the way it used to.
We often want to grow an audience as fast as possible. But we are business owners, not content creators and we’re here to get more paying customers (right?)
So this is the last part of our content marketing activity we action. My coaching clients need to earn the right to start creating this content. I recommend you do too.
There are three types of content we create at this stage, and you get to choose the type that fits you best. We also get to choose the format (it’s not always video)
So get ready to plan for niche domination, because this is the podcast all about how to get your noticed.

We’re part two on the mission to find out where your content marketing isn’t firing. And we’re now in the middle of your customer journey and how it fits into your marketing
In this episode we’re focusing on the CONNECTED stage. This is the first step after someone’s discovered you (we’re covering that stage in the next episode).
Our content needs to be good enough for them to see we’re worth a follow, we’re worth hanging around to see again. (I call this coming on our sticky content web).
This was traditionally the part where I’d have taught you to put all your “how to” content - but there’s been a shift and the old HOW TO content we used to love is not building trust the way it used to.
So in this episode we’re going to walk through how much of this content you need to make, what type of content to make, what content types to avoid and why you might need to create your own RED, GREEN and BEIGE flag chart of your ideal client before jumping on it.
We’re halfway through the content marketing audit (Looksie) with this episode - listen in, take notes and go take action.
Because content marketing is ALL about getting results. Right?

We’re on a mission to find out where your content marketing isn’t firing. And we’re going to go backwards.
We often focus on “how to grow an audience”. But I always focus on how to look after the audience you already have.
If you have stopped expecting big things from your content marketing, if you’ve stopped having goals and targets to hit in terms of leads and sales from your content, then this episode is for you.
We’re covering the warning signs that your content isn’t working as it should. We’re also going to deep dive into the two decision making stages of the customer journey : the “YOURS” and the “NURTURED” stages. We’re looking to build trust, remove objections, and help your audience know they want to work with you, know how to work with you, and tell you they want to work with you.
So get a pen and paper out, take some notes and then get working (and full disclosure - I came away with a wee list of actions too. Because I’m always refining and if I suggest something to you, you know I’m going to follow my own advice!

Today, I'm diving into a topic that's close to my heart: transforming your mindset towards email marketing.
We're going to explore the incredible power of email marketing and how it has the potential to establish even stronger connections with our audience. It's time for us to shatter that misconception that emails are just lost in the sea of an overflowing inbox. I'm excited to share how we can engage and re-engage our audience without sounding overly pushy with sales.
In this episode we start with why we need to shift our mindset and what happened when I changed the way I saw email as part of my marketing activity.
I also cover how frequent our emails can be, and how we need to look at emails from an end user perspective and NOT from our own perspective of how we see emails and marketing.
If you’ve not emailed your list in a while I will cover a range of emails you can use to kick start your email marketing (that all of us can use!) and also give a framework for how frequently we should send our strong “sales push” emails out.
I also share how and when I tend to use ChatGPT to help me with emails, and why my email list tends to get my very very best intel, ideas and thoughts.
Remember, emails are a mighty tool for nurturing your community and building deeper relationships with your audience. So, take that step, turn your email marketing approach around, and get ready to see your business thrive.
Thanks for joining me on this episode of Confident Content. We’re at episode three and I’m SO excited of what we’ve got coming up! In the meantime, keep harnessing the power of email marketing, and I'll catch you in the next episode.

One of the questions I ask my content coaching clients is how many posts they will commit to creating a week on their primary platform. Before they answer I’ll slide in “and the minimum is three”.
So often the reply is “well, I guess it’s three then!”
The framework for building up your content output takes into account all the key parts of a customer journey, and makes sure you’ve got all your bases covered. It’s also created backwards, from the core and most important (for your business) posts, backwards to the posts that will help your business audience grow.
This same framework works with a more frequent posting schedule, as long as you take into account the percentage of each type of post you need, and make it work with the regular frequency of posting.
I am a huge advocate of creating content that is repeatable, which means taking time to create high quality posts that can be used more than once.
So if you’re struggling with what types of posts you need to create, and how to get the mix right to get those all important sales and leads, this is the perfect podcast for you.

This is the very first episode of CONFIDENT CONTENT, a podcast designed to help you become more confident in your content marketing
Confidence allows us to be generous with our content. It doesn’t pull on people’s feelings in a way that makes they feel they’ve been grabbed by something slimy. It doesn’t need to shout what we do over and over again. And it doesn’t hide away our best stuff.
It’s not easy to become confident in your content marketing. But it is simple. And I love simple.
I’m Rachel Klaver, your content marketing coach and I’m here to help you get excited about what’s possible and then help you get there.
Often it will be me walking you through strategy and ideas, but along the way we’ll also have the help of some of my favourite experts giving you super specific advice, and also some live coaching sessions with some of my favourite small business owners - all developing their own confidence in their ability to create content
I’m one hundred percent confident you’ve got it in you ot create content that connects with your ideal audience. I’m 100% confident you can get live, paying clients with your content too!
And it all starts with understanding… CONFIDENCE.

It’s been a few weeks since I dropped a Wednesday podcast - the short weeks and a fully booked workload has been messing with me!
I’ve also been thinking a lot about what I want to share that would help you develop, as I develop this new book of mine
I’ve been digging deep into mindset
and wondering why so many of us struggle to feel good enough about ourselves to show our faces and record ourselves talking
Here’s what I’ve learned about showing our face
So I’ve decided I’d like to take you on a journey to help me with my next book
So far it’s titled “You’ve Never Killed a Man With your face”
But sometimes when you write a book you realise it’s not got enough legs, or concepts to make it into something book sized.
Sometimes you write it and you realise that it could have been a blog
Or it’s not hitting the …
