Ben and Rob are back with immediate reaction following Wednesday night's game against the Merritt Centennials that saw they game finish 7-6 Smoke Eaters. They discuss a full week of events surrounding the team while looking ahead to game six of the Kootenay Cup. This week's guest is Chilliwack Native, Zack Feaver.

On this week's episode Ben and Rob break down the past weekend as the Smoke Eaters made their first trip of the season to the East Kootenay's. After a tough loss on Friday, the team bounced back in dramatic fashion on Saturday to take a 3-2 series lead in the battle for the Kootenay Cup. Later in the episode we chat with Drew Elser about a the weekend, his transition to Trail from Penticton and his goals past this season. We also talk team news and look ahead to the upcoming games against the Merritt Centennials. 

With a weekend off from games we take this opportunity to dive into who are the Smoke Eaters this year. This week Ben Phillips sits down with Nicolas Roussel to talk about his unique journey in becoming a Trail Smoke Eater. We finish off this week's show with a interview from the director of officiating for the BCHL, Brad Lazarowich to talk his NHL career, the way the game has changed and implementing new Covid19 rules in the BCHL. 

The Smoke Show returns for episode 9 as Ben Phillips and Rob Squires break down Saturdays 4-2 win as well as the Smoke Eaters 2-1 series lead in the Kootenay Cup as the series switches to Cranbrook. This week they are joined by Jordan Hendry as he talks about being back in Trail and learning from year one to year two.
