The Snap UK (An American Football Podcast)

Week 2 of the 2020 season will be remembered mainly for the amount of injuries that a lot of talented players received. Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Courtland Sutton and seemingly half the 49ers now face weeks out, or an early end to the season.

In play, the Chiefs sneaked an overtime win over Los Angeles Chargers, who had a new face at Quarter Back, whilst the Falcons find new ways to blow a lead, this time against the Dallas Cowboys. The Seattle Seahawks continue to impress, along with Baltimore Ravens, whilst the Giants and Philadelphia Eagles struggle

Week 1 is here, so whilst we try to avoid any first week overreactions, it's hard to not to think that the Jets may be the worst team in football at the moment, and the Jags and Washington Football Team getting wins may be outliers on a perculiar season.

Brees and the Saints overcome Brady and the Buccs, in a win that left more questions than answers.

The Packers look on top form in overcoming the Vikings, whilst does anyone in NFC East actually look particularly good?

The new season kicks off in a couple of days, so we look at who we expect to do well, and who may have taken steps back this off season, so:

Can the Dallas Cowboys take control of the NFC East for once?

Can the Vikings or Packers take the North?

Will Tom be able to help Tampa Bay overhaul New Orleans?

Can the 49ers go one step further this year?

All this, and 16 NFC teams are considered as we look to the 2020 NFL season.

We also look back at the latest draft class of QBs, and compare them to the 2018 selections, who have so far had a mixed response

After we looked at who would be boom or bust in the AFC, it seemed only fair we'd also look at the NFC.

Will the Buccaneers lead the way in the South, or will the Saints continue to dominate, can the 49ers avoid a Super Bowl hangover, and will anyone from the NFC East get to the Playoffs?

Also Cam Newton was joined the Patriots, in an eventful few days for the team. Is this the player the team needs after Brady's departure?

We can't ignore the Black Lives Matter protests, so we start with a discussion about this and how NFL are dealing with it.

We also discuss Don Shula who sadly passed since we last recorded, and which players and teams could be boom or busts in the AFC.

Joe Burrows went first, Washington got Chase Young, Miami got Tua, Giants took a Tackle and it seemed a rather sensible draft, until Green Bay got involved.

What does this mean for Aaron Rodgers, and who had a good draft, and who else took leave of their senses?
