The Snap UK (An American Football Podcast)

What started as a pre-draft analysis, into who should be taken early, who are the leaders at each position is changed slightly, when news comes through of the return of Gronk, when he is traded to Tampa Bay to be reunited with Tom Brady.

Should the Bengals pick Burrows, who is the best player in the Draft, any trades or surpises we can see. All this, plus we debate the chances of the season taking place, where expert opinion is clashing with some public sentiment.

It's that time of the year where we get to play GM, and Griff gets to unleash his inner Commissioner, and we have a go at what we would do with the first round of the NFL Draft.

Who makes the right trade, who picks savvy, and who takes a reach...knowing previous years, Paul might do all three.

The next chat as Free Agency claims some big names.

Cam Newton released

Todd Gurley signed

Kyle Allen traded

Gostkowski released

Who has had the best Free Agency so far, who still needs work doing?

Recorded over Skype due to the current COVID-19 crisis, this is not as good sounding as useful, but we continue to try to entertain and inform in the current climate.

Those of us able to, recorded something to mark the signing of the new CBA and the start of Free Agency. What next for Tom Brady, who has signed a new superstar, and just what is Bill O'Brien and the Houston Texans playing at?

The big game is now in the record books and Kansas City Chiefs, and Andy Reid come away with the plaudits and the ring. San Francisco 49ers and Kyle Shanahan leave with questions over Jimmy G and the offensive play calling, but is that right?

We discuss referee calls, closing your eyes on an intercepted pass, a mistimed tweet, Shakira and J-Lo put on a great show, and trusting your QB.

As well, we discuss the best and worst of the 2019 season. Who is our MVP, and best of the rookies, and who is a bellend?

Also, some early questions ahead of the new season, where there are some big names on free agency, and questions at Carolina

The Superbowl is this Sunday, and we take a final look at the Big Game, but before that we have to discuss the Pro Bowl, Antonio Brown, the retirement of Eli Manning, what next for Philip Rivers, and the death of Kobe Bryant.

Most importantly though, we have to create a Team of the Decade, where Johnny & Griff have to pitch to GM Jim, who they would pick, and then Jim get the final say. Will there be any glaring omissions, or picks you did not expect.

We now know who is going to be in the Superbowl, and it's going to be Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers in Miami for Superbowl 54.

This week we take an initial look at who may come out with the rings on that first Sunday in February. Mahomes vs Jimmy G, Andy Reid vs Kyle Shanahan, Kittle vs Kelce, and every other battle on and off the field.

We also cover Luke Kuechly's retirement, Jason Garrett reappearing in the NFC East, and the other news around the NFL

The Ravens go out at the first point of call...again as the Titans march on. Is Derrick Henry the best Running Back in the league, the evidence seems to say yes.

Patrick Mahomes shows why if he hadn't been injured he'd be the true MVP as he blitzs a Texans team with 41 straight points, after the Texans take an early lead.

The 49ers have an easy win over the Vikings, and are can they beat the Packers in the NFC Championship game, who bested the Seahawks?

We go over more coaching changes, have the Browns made a smart choice...all signs point to no.

The Wildcard weekend is done, and so are the Patriots, losing to the Titans, where Vrabel shows all he learnt from his time with the Dark Lord Belichick.

The Bills somehow contrive to lose whilst dominating against the Houston Texans, with Josh Allen going to pot.

What was that about Kirk Cousins in prime time? The Vikings best the Saints in overtime.

The Eagles lose to the Seahawks, but not that much of a surprise when they had to play Josh McCown for most of the game. Was that an illegal hit on Wentz though?

The guys look at the coaching hires following Black Monday, and Washington and Panthers look like they have made potentially good calls.

There is also a test on their knowledge of the last decade, as Johnny tests them on landmarks from the last ten years.

The Regular Season is now over, and the 49ers finished it with a win over Seahawks to get 1 seed in the NFC.

The Patriots are consigned to the Wildcard for the first time this decade, after a shock loss to the Dolphins.

Jameis is Jameis, and we hope he never changes.

Is this the actual end for Rivers and Eli.

Black Monday has begun with Freddie Kitchens and Pat Schurmur being sacrificed by Cleveland Browns and New York Giants respectively, whilst we await news on Jason Garrett, who is out of contract anyway.

We look at the Playoff picture and make our picks for who will make the Divisional week
