  • Episode three- The dangers of alcohol

Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's not dangerous.....this week we discuss what alcohol actually is and the dangers that occur both internally and externally. Many people (including ourselves before we ditched the booze) often put the blinkers on to the real dangers alcohol brings and can brush over it's powerful effect on us physically, mentally and in society.

  • Episode two- Donna Espin-Smith's story

Todays episode is my sober journey story.

After many a failed relationship and birth of my third child I used alcohol as a way to numb my emotions and cope with everyday life. What I didn't realise was how alcohol was causing problems not taking it away, until it came very apparent that things needed to change. So after several attempts of abstinence and moderation this time it clicked and I was ready to ditch the booze for good.

My hope is this episode reaches the right hands and helps you on your journey wherever you are.

*Please note at time of recording I was 16 months sober however on Friday I am 18 months sober wahoooo
