The enemy's strategy is not to defeat sons outright. It is to keep them proving what is already settled, running toward a prize Christ already won, and spending so much energy in battles that the joy of salvation becomes a distant memory.
Part six of the Temptations of Sons series works through the third temptation, the pride of life, and how it maps specifically to the fathers and veterans of faith. The teaching builds on the framework of child, young, and father, showing that maturity in one area of your walk does not protect every area. Where confidence has accumulated through testimony and experience, that same confidence can quietly become the ground on which pride of life takes root. The session also grounds all three stages in a single posture: Faith driven, word directed, and Christ centered. Faith here is not a discipline or a practice. It is a person received. Christ in you is the substance, the evidence, and the testimony itself.

SERIES: Temptations of Sons. This series examines how the enemy targets sons at each stage of their walk, not to take what they lack, but to obscure what they already carry.
