Prayer is not what you do. Prayer is who you are.

This teaching draws a hard line between prayer as works and prayer as nature. The argument moves through three layers: the theological foundation that sonship consciousness, not sin consciousness, is the proper posture for prayer; the distinction between praying to earn God's response versus praying from a settled identity as a loved son; and why the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray rather than to perform miracles. The session addresses how a sin-focused identity causes sons to run from the throne when they fall short, not recognizing that their position in Christ is unchanged. Three non-negotiable convictions are named: belief in God's love, belief in Christ as the sent one, and belief that through Christ you are now intimate with the Father. The beginning is not a point in time. It is a person, and you are seated in him.

This teaching opens the Matter series by establishing what it means to matter to God through the precise language of physics. Matter has weight and occupies space, and the argument here is that before God ever required worship from you, he ascribed worth to you first. Worship was given before worship was required. From that foundation, the teaching works through three identities that are each the same person: the Beginning, Faith, and the I Am are all Christ, and all of Christ is in you. Faith is not a product of your effort or a discipline you cultivate. Faith is the person of Christ making the fullness of the Father obtainable to you, just as Grace is the Holy Spirit making that fullness available. The distinction matters because availability and obtainability are not the same thing, and what limits how much of what is available you actually obtain is your revelation of Christ.

Sonship is not one metaphor among many. It is the foundation from which every other dimension of our relationship with God draws its meaning and its freedom.

This teaching revisits and grounds the previous session on prayer, responding to questions that arose around the name above all names and the relationship between identity and intercession. Using a Yoruba-Edo marriage tradition as a living illustration, the teaching shows how a bride adopted into the family simultaneously holds the position of son, the oneness of a spouse, and the fellowship of a friend. These are not three separate relationships rotating in and out depending on context. They are occupied all at once, and sonship is the one that gives the others their full weight. Religion stops at friendship or betrothal, both of which carry their own limits and their own distance. But when the finished work of Christ is understood as adoption into full inheritance, the consciousness that drives you to prayer changes entirely. You are not an in-law approaching carefully. You are a child of the house, already home.

The wounds a son carries from marriage can become a ceiling on what they receive from the Father, not because God withholds, but because familiar pain trains you to expect less than what sonship guarantees.

This teaching addresses how unresolved wounds from marriage and close covenant relationships create a filter through which sons receive, or fail to receive, God's provision. The session handles the live tension between declaring truth and actually believing it, drawing from a testimony where declaration without settled identity produced a shaky foundation. The teaching also introduces a framework for the forms of prayer, distinguishing between forms that are active by nature and forms that require deliberate action, grounding both in the truth that prayer itself is not an activity but a nature.

The mysteries of God are not theological fog. They have been fully revealed in Christ, and this teaching makes the case from Scripture.

Building on three weeks of teaching on the integrity of salvation, this session grounds two prior claims before advancing: Grace is the person of the Holy Spirit making the fullness of the Father available, and Faith is the person of Christ making that fullness obtainable. Neither is a practice or a posture. Both are persons given to the believer, which is precisely why no one can boast. From that foundation, the teaching moves into what Scripture actually means by dimensions and mysteries in God. The argument is precise: there are only two mysteries, that believers are one with Christ, and that believers are one in Christ. Every other invocation of mystery or dimension in popular preaching is either an honest admission of ignorance or a substitution for careful handling of the text.

The thief on the cross never got wet, and he was the one Jesus personally escorted into paradise.

This teaching continues the series on sonship baptism by pressing into what it actually means to be born again. The argument is precise: true baptism is immersion into Christ through belief, not a physical water ritual, and any theology that cannot account for the thief on the cross is unbiblical on its face. The teaching also draws a sharp and important distinction between two things sons often conflate. The Word of God sanctifies and purifies, while the blood of Christ justifies. These are not interchangeable. The blood is not a blanket or a covering poured over sin. It is a legal tender, a plea that stands at the point of justification and silences condemnation entirely, because a curse is condemnation and a causeless curse cannot land on anyone under the blood of the Lamb.

The gospel is not a transaction you received once. It is the finished work of Christ made manifest in the person of man to represent the person of God to the world.

This teaching takes the room back to first principles, not to re-explain salvation, but to sharpen what sons actually believe about it. The distinction between dying "for" you and dying "as" you is pressed carefully. Because Christ was buried, you were buried. Because he resurrected, you resurrected in him. Not with him as a companion, but in him as a location. Seated in him means seated far above principalities and Powers, which means a son has no business negotiating with what is beneath where he is already sitting. The teaching also moves through what it means to be eternally loved, eternally forgiven, and filled to the fullness of God, and lands on the Holy Spirit as the person of Grace, not a gift but a person, who makes everything the Father is available to the believer from the inside out.
