In this episode, titled "The Parable of The Lost Son" we dive deep into the famous parable of the Lost Son. Interestingly, the term "prodigal son" isn't found in scripture; it’s a label that has been widely adopted over time.

The word "prodigal" means wasteful, extravagant, and careless—traits often associated with the younger son in the parable.

But today, we're taking a fresh look at this story. We explore the character of the younger son who, despite his apparent recklessness, knew his identity and what he was entitled to.

This awareness prompted him to demand his inheritance early, unlike his older brother who remained unaware of his entitlement.

Understanding how God sees you is more important than any other perspective. He alone has the final say on your worth.

In the Christian context, the terms “slave” and “servant” often get used interchangeably, but they differ significantly. A slave is bound by law, with no choice but to obey the master. In contrast, Servants have free will yet, they choose to surrender their will to God based on love.

The Law made us slaves, but Grace transforms us into Sons who choose to serve. Some view themselves as slaves to God, while others see themselves as servants. The difference between the two is profound.

Slaves are often forced into obedience and follow directives out of fear, while Servants obey out of love and commitment. This distinction is crucial.

Servants choose to serve their masters willingly, whereas slaves do so out of obligation.

The good news is that anyone can transition from being a slave to a servant—and even to a son.

Your self-worth affects your relationships with God and others. For you to reach your full potential and your role in God’s agenda, you must have a solid foundation for your self-worth. This foundation will shape how you interact with God and others..
