There's so much beauty in holding our friends and loved ones in our thoughts on a daily basis, whether it's when we sit down to meditate or at night before we sleep.

There's a true energetic power in it, too. The more people holding a particular projection, the faster it manifests into physical reality!

Lately I've been finding myself reflecting that I DO want to be seen, heard, received, and even admired. I think it's only human for us to want that, though somehow I was conditioned that it's not okay to admit it.

However, it feels very liberating to put it out there. I want you to hear me. I want you to acknowledge me.

I invite you to tap into that desire inside yourself to be received by others.

I just finished the first ever interview for The Soul Path, with goddess of all things astrology and Kundalini Yoga, Kristen Fletcher.

We talked a lot about Kundalini Yoga, and I realized not everybody knows what this is! (It's a lot different from your standard Hatha Vinyasa.) So I break it down for you here, and talk about how this practice saved me when I went through the most cataclysmic event of my life back in October 2018.

This podcast is a part of my soul path. It's also a space where I will have conversations with fellow humans who are pursuing their unique soul missions.

A big way I've been discovering more about my soul's path in this lifetime is through astrology, specifically by looking at my north node, or true node. The north node gives an indication of the energy we're meant to be going toward during this lifetime. Often it feels out of our comfort zone or challenging for us.

My north node is in Leo, in the 9th house, which steers me toward creative, playful self-expression in a public way, touching on themes of philosophy, wisdom, travel. Learning that really lit the fire for me to make this podcast happen.

When it comes down to it, all songs of devotion are really the same song, no? Even when we don't know the words, some part of us understands the meaning. In case you were craving a musical interlude, here it is!

The farther I go on this awakening journey, the more it's becoming clear that there's no more "getting away" with complaining or negative talk. It all counts; not in a punitive way, but in the sense that every vibration we embody influences our overall energy.

I've come to realize, if I'm paying attention, that life is in constant dialogue with me.

Seeing animals when I'm out hiking or relaxing in nature is one of the ways that messages come through. I hope that hearing a little bit about how I interpret messages from animal friends will help you reflect on what messages nature might have for you!
