Tens of thousands of workers have either gone on strike or are about to across a wide swath on industries, exasperating the massive inflation and shortages problems we already have. In some cases the workers have a valid point. In others they are probably asking for too much. In either case damage is being done at a time when we cannot afford it, and the likes of AOC and others have gotten #striketober to trend, making matters worse. Walls are up and the divide is great in many of these disputes. We dig into four specific situations with John Deere, Kelloggs, IATSE, and Kaiser Permanente, calling balls and strikes as we see them. In every case, one side (or both) doesn't understand math very well. We grapple with this messy subject in this Sunday Discussion episode of The Soule of Wisdom.
