During a recent time of intercession, I heard the Lord say the words, day of reckoning. There was weight on the statement, and I felt led to check the definition of the word reckoning. It means in essence, a settling of accounts, the time where we are forced to deal with a grave situation—the time where God has reached His limit or patience—the end of the discussion.

With everything happening in the world today, we need the Holy Spirit more than ever as the scriptures tell us: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. As God prepares to launch us into our destinies, we need this truth to be our foundation as we launch out! Over the past week I have been hearing the Lord say to read the book of Amos. As I read, what was  outstanding to me, was that things had reached a state where God decided it was time to do something—that He would no longer turn aside. The situation was grave and called for significant measures, where it became necessary to bring out Heaven’s ultimate weapon against corruption—the only solution to the problem!  God said to Amos, I am sending the Plumb Line! The Plumb Line is the stature and measure of Christ, the King! It is a revelation and manifestation of the true authentic Christ in fullness of stature and Glory; where in beholding Him, all fall prostrate and declare, “Woe is me; I am a man of unclean lips.”

The Holy Spirit is a treasured gift given to us to be everything in this time before Jesus returns. We owe so much to Him as He has brought us this far. With everything happening in the world today, we need Him more than ever! The scripture God is emphasising to me right now is Zechariah 4:6, 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.

America, in this notable hour of history, and as the last bastion of Judeo-Christian values, is presently the primary target of dark forces bent on its destruction. For their diabolical plan to succeed to attain world dominion, America must be subdued, contained, restrained, and subjected to anti-Christian regulations. I don’t believe it is too late for things to be turned around, God is able to do the impossible and inconceivable! However, if America falls, and the role given to champion the causes of God and to restrain evil in the Earth is lost, the demonic grip on the world will tighten. For these reasons, it is extremely critical for every believer of every nation to be praying for America at this time! Barbara Yoder is the Apostle over Shekinah Church in Ann Arbor Michigan. She also oversees BAMN - a network of pastors, ministry leaders and business leaders. Barbara has a hunger in her heart to see the glory of God released in the nations resulting in revival and ultimately transformation. She was featured on the cover of Charisma Magazine as one of the most influential women in America transforming the face of the Christian church in America. She travels most of the time nationally and internationally speaking in conference and leadership venues. 

I have taught many times on the story of Esther as have many, and have tended to focus on certain chapters, as in chapter 4, where she courageously makes the decision to go before the king, despite protocol stating that unless the king put forth his scepter, her death would be guaranteed. Esther made the decision to risk her life for the cause of her people and said those famous words, “If I perish, I perish!”  Both Esther and Mordecai received great favor because of their obedience to God. However, God began to highlight to me the process Esther went through before she was chosen to be Queen.
