Alford replaces Jackie Daffin, who is now the assistant superintendent of Clarke County Schools. Alford went to Thomasville High School as principal in 2015 after working for Crenshaw County Schools.     JACKSON — The Jackson Area Rotary Club passed the gavel of its presidency on June 27 at the Community House when Vicki Moore succeeded Tyrone Moye. Moye and Moore swapped positions, as she will become the new president and he will be the club’s vice president. The club also named Patricia Boman as its Rotarian of the Year.
