Like many of our past guests, Robert is cut from the cloth of old school turkey killers. Bob Walker is a turkey hunting legend in the southeast.

A longtime guide at the legendary Bent Creek Lodge in Alabama, Bob has spent many years hunting every day of turkey season. Throughout the years, Bob has observed a lot of turkey behavior...and a lot of turkey hunter behavior!

In this episode, Bob shares some of his biggest lessons learned while turkey hunting. We dive deep on turkey behavior, turkey calling, and more. He also shares some very interesting tidbits from his experience guiding other turkey hunters - touching on subtle things that most turkey hunters do that decrease their odds of success while turkey hunting.

Preston has spent a life in the woods of Mississippi, hunting and fishing for any game species the state offers, but is best known for turkey calling and hunting. We talk with Preston about his upbrining, his old-school turkey hunting mentors from the 1960's, and some of Preston's best hunting stories and lessons learned in the turkey woods.
