You don't need FIXING.

All frustration comes from unfulfilled desires, but we need to stop looking outside ourselves for the fix and start to fulfill those desires ourselves.

This is about awareness and learning to unblind ourselves from the real issues at hand.

It's about loving ourselves more than anyone else ever will, so we can love others more than we ever though we could.

This episode is coming at you honest and raw (baby noise and all) as I talk about how loneliness has come up for me in different seasons of growth, but especially this latest one.

The truth is that it's NORMAL for some friendships to come and go as your seasons of life change. It's a GOOD thing that we move on and drift because it means we are following our true hearts desires, honoring our boundaries, and pursuing GROWTH. If we are all honoring that for ourselves, it's only natural for us to have periods where we drift and part ways with people who at one point were a very important part of our life...and they always will be - whether we know it or not everyone plays a role in our journey.

Recording this on the eve of my 33rd birthday - here are my biggest takeaways from this last year of LIVING and what i want to carry with me.

This episode is a raw, in the moment share of me going through a really hard moment 6 days postpartum. One of the things I hear and know from experience from my own journey, is how easy it is to compare our lives and our hard to the highlight reel of someone we admire on social media.

Social media is a wonderful way for us to connect, to share value, to share our special moments and to entertain, but it's also just that - a platform. It is NOT a depiction of someones all day, everyday, real life...it is just a snapshot, a moment in time from post to post, story to story.

As a new mom, I used this platform for comfort. I used it to share my highlight moments and victories because at that time that is what I was needing emotionally and I did not yet have the skills or awareness to know how to give myself what I was needing, but it was not an accurate depiction of everything I was going through throughout that time.

This podcast is my way to break through that one sided lens and give you the FULL story, and this episode is one of those moments. I don't know who needs to hear this, but I hope it reaches whoever needs to hear it the most.
