'Tis the season to recount the time Callan got Home Alone-d by his family in Brisbane, deck the halls with Kohl's scientific explanation of the relationship between shiny objects and the "Ding!" sound effect, and it's beginning to look a lot like Jack's most well-received intro wordplay of the show so far. This week, we put the beginnings of the highly influential Evil Dead horror franchise through its paces. Callan laments the demise of practical effects in movies, Jack admonishes the other two for not warning him that Evil Dead 1 includes a lengthy scene in which a woman is sexually assaulted by a tree, and Kohl extols the virtues of urban horticulture.
