The Spike Feed

The episode is a touch tardy this week due to Cameron's barnyard antics, but we make the most of having a mid-week show. We discuss the state of Standard and why Curtis just can't quit Hour of Devastation limited. There's also an in-depth look at a few commander cards and their potential impact on Legacy. Lastly we cover some old and new video games, including Curtis losing his mind over Sonic Mania. Thank you for your honor.

Curtis went all in on Standard this week, so get ready for five leagues worth of review. We discuss MTG Arena, give our wish list of features, and review the service Mana Traders. We also give a very timely review of the film L.A. Confidential. Thank you for your honor.

We celebrate the 200th Spike Feed in classic Spike Feed fashion: we don't do a lot. BUT we do go over some of the Pro Tour results. Cameron plays Standard. Curtis suits up Modern Storm. And we talk movies. Thank you for your honor.

Just as we hit the post button last week, WotC drops a big announcement on promos and Standard. So with our legendary Spike Feed timeliness, we discuss it a week after the fact. Cameron plays some Kiln Fiend while Curtis collects some humans. We also talk Destiny 2 and Comic Con. Thank you for your honor.

Hour of Devastation is here, and with it we talk its impact to Standard. We take a look at card quality issues popping up. Cameron tests a new wrath in Modern while Curtis looks toward the Boss for answers in Limited. Thank you for your honor.

It's a semi quiet week with news. We go over our Modern reports: Cameron finds love with Spell Quellers while Curtis goes in on Bant Humans. We discuss Data and Hour of Devastation. Then we go deep on Baby Driver, the Apple Watch, and Doom. Thank you for your honor.

Hour of Devastation is upon us, and we go over the remaining spoiled cards that have got us intruiged. We take a look at the Modern meta and see if it's time to update the banned list. We also go deep in reasons why WotC has it out for Curtis. Thank you for your honor.

So many spoilers, so little time. We go over some more Hour of Devastation spoilers. We talk about "jocks" and the Magic Community and talk about Standard. Thank you for your honor.

It seems like every announcement under the moon happened this week. We go over mono green 12 post and a Temur Standard Deck. We analyze a few cards that were spoiled this week, discuss the Masters sets coming up, lament over the death of Magic Duels, and look at what the banning of Aetherworks Marvel means for Standard. Thank you for your honor.

We talk Metamorphosis 2.0, Modern, and E3. Thank you for your honor.
