The Spike Feed

GP Omaha is here, and in classic Spike Feed fashion the guys bring you the sounds of not a tournament, but of a restaurant. Enjoy the ambience we bring you as we give our takes on the GP, go over some of the new spoilers, share the best places to visit while traveling. Thank you for your honor.

Grand Prix Omaha is a week away and we give our reasons why we're not playing Standard during the event. Cameron finds new love with Hymn to Tourach while Curtis updates us with his Bant Eldrazi list. We also spend the last third going talking Sci Fi with the Expanse and Alien. Thank you for your honor.

It's a super light week for Magic as we prepare for Grand Prix Omaha. Cameron suits up a Mono Green 12 Post Deck while Curtis tinkers around with a Standard Gauntlet. We go over what combo means for standard, and speculate what would happen if Curtis played New Perspectives at the GP. Thank you for your honor.

We go over Pro Tour Amohket and discuss what Temur Aetherworks and BW Zombies will do to Standard. Cameron drafts RW Aggro, while Curtis suits up New Pespectives. We talk about the new non rotating tournaments happening on MTGO, and wax poetic on Neil Gaiman. Thank you for your honor.

It's a light week in magic, and we come away with a light week in news and discussion. We wax poetic over Amonkhet limited. Cameron forgets what Miracles was during our Legacy metagame discussion, and we finally talk about Commander. No seriously, we talk Commander. Thank you for your honor.

Amidst the pitter patter of a spring rain, Cameron and Curtis time travel and record another cast from a Honda Civic. We celebrate Amonkhet Limited (#pouncingcheetah4life), discuss the banning of Felidar Guardian, and talk with the tournament organizer of the Win a Lotus Legacy event in Columbia, MO. Thank you for your honor.

We waited for the Banned and Restricted List, just in case, and really, wouldn't you know, there's not much to talk about...yup. Nothing at all to talk about...Thank you for your honor.

This week we find solace in the little details of deckbuilding. With tons of spoilers, we give our final takes on Amonkhet, and discuss what we think has the potential of being a fun set. We also troll burn players. Then we talk Star Wars and video games. Thank you for your honor.

Despite some allergies and sniffles, Cameron and Curtis go over the latest spoilers from AMONKHET. Cameron ponders what version of Stoneblade to play for an upcoming tournament, while Curtis gives his two cents on Flashback Gauntlets. Thank you for your honor.

AMONKHET spoilers are here, and we analyze them. We give our take on the new invocations, talk about the new mechanics, and curb our enthusiasm over the new duel lands. Thank you for your honor.
