Healthcare is continuing to evolve. We’re seeing changing atmospheres and

landscapes with hospitals across the country and travelers, both local and

true traveler, are experiencing a constant shift in pay, opportunities, and

demand.

Here are a few of the things we cover in this episode:

* We’re seeing a lot of tech incorporated into how nurses are engaging

with job opportunities. Essentially, we’re seeing more “self-service”

style hiring scenarios.

* Plus, there are over 200,000 job openings for nurses across the

country. Closing this gap is the key.

Will tech replace agencies and recruiters?

* The simple answer? It’s hard to say yes — at least indefinitely. We

still need to reduce the friction in how nurses get hired. Reducing

the friction in nurses getting hired is still the focus.

* Agencies have to evolve with the current paradigm — and it all comes

down to serving the traveler first and foremost.

* One of the best things to do in setting up yourself up for a great

career as a traveler is cross-training into different specialties.

The more in-demand a nurse can be based on their skillset, the better

care they can provide based on growing needs.
