Welcome to The Spirit's Flame.

Today I’d like to share a very special topic with you: Joy.

We often think that to be happy, everything has to go well; that we need to achieve our goals, have stability, or for circumstances to be favourable.

But… what happens when things don’t turn out as we expected?

Can we still experience joy when trials, pain or difficulties come our way?

In this episode, I want to talk to you about the joy that comes from God – a joy that doesn’t depend on our circumstances and that can endure even in the most difficult moments.

We’ll also look at the example of Paul and Silas, who, even whilst in prison and after having been flogged, prayed and sang hymns to God.

Because true joy doesn’t mean we’ll never cry, suffer or feel pain. It means knowing that, even in the midst of it all, God is with us.

But we look for that love in people, in the things of this world, and we think that by doing our own will and fulfilling our desires we’ll be happy.

But nothing satisfies us.

What if I told you there’s true love - a love that comes from God?

A love that transforms, that forgives, that endures, and that teaches us to love others as Christ loved us.

Because the love our soul needs can only come from God.

And how did she eventually come to accept Jesus as her Saviour?

Today I’m going to tell you her story: a story marked by loss, questions, a search, experiences she couldn’t always understand, and a long journey on which she tried, in her own strength, to find that love, that peace and that meaning we all long for so deeply.

Until one day, everything changed.

On the day when all of humanity who rejected the gospel will stand before God’s throne, and every person will be judged.

We’ll discuss the Great White Throne, the Book of Life, the second death, and the eternal destiny of those who rejected God.

But this message isn’t just about judgment. It also reminds us of something very important: that God does not want anyone to perish, but rather that everyone have the opportunity to receive salvation through Jesus Christ.

Because behind this warning lies a greater truth: God loves us and even today extends His mercy to anyone who wants to draw near to Him.

In this second part, we’ll take a closer look at what the Bible actually teaches about hell; we’ll also discuss the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, in which Jesus reveals to us what happens after death.

After this episode, we’ll continue with a third and final part, in which we’ll talk about the Last Judgement and the eternal destiny of humanity.

My aim is not to cause fear, but to make you aware that hell is real: a place of torment and unquenchable fire that never ceases. But I also want you to know that hope is still available, because God’s grace is for everyone who repents and places their faith in Jesus Christ.
