The final episode of Season 3: Living Through Poetry is in and in this episode we further our discussion of poetry by talking about what makes a poem's ending good versus what makes it fall flat. This episode covers Instagram Poetry Syndrome which is when poets write for what's popular instead of writing from their heart. And I share a poem I wrote for Instagram and contrast it to a poem that I wrote with all my spirit imbued into it.
This then culminates into a conversation around death, because death itself is a perfect ending that physical beings arrive to and then cease to exist. We briefly cover the Tibetan and Egyptian Books of the Dead while I also share my perspective on dying and how we can practice dying every day.

The penultimate episode of season 3 is dedicated to the path of the artist/human and how we evolve as time progresses.
This episode is approached from the argument that human destiny is to evolve. And because of this, the artist must confront themselves at 3 different stages by changing: their mindset, their work ethic, and their sense of worthiness.

This episode begins with the origin of poetry: the oral tradition, the way humans have preserved art, history, law, and truth. This podcast has covered the power of the word, but this time we expand on this concept by addressing the historical use of the word through epics like the Iliad, Odyssey, Don Juan, and even current stories like Spider-Man, Star Wars, and fables like the Rabbit and the Turtle.
The second half of this episode covers Venus Retrograde, 2022 as a year of vibration number 6, and how to spend this time constructively by tuning in to our desires.

This episode breaks down the editing/analysis process of writing poetry. Are you the kind of poet that drafts non stop in pursuit of the perfect poem? Or have you forsaken perfection in your artistic workflow?
I share my own editing/analysis workflow while connecting these ideas to the grand Hermetic principle of KNOW THYSELF.
The second half of this episode is spent reflecting on the past two years of sickness and shadows as I answer the question: does any of this matter?
Three episodes are left in season 3, new episodes will be out every other Sunday!

In this episode we cover the nature of the Word, pure vibration and the way vibration influences our lives. From the way we speak to the music we listen to, the world around us in is vibration. Therefore honesty in our lives and in our art matters.
The second half of the episode is dedicated to living in the present and the way we as a people can be comfortable in our reality, despite living in a traumatic world.

Last week's episode dealt with the individual experience. This episode builds upon that by talking about the collective human experience: suffering.
This episode is dedicated to the way art communicates this suffering. Themes and tropes convey archetypal information to the viewer's subconscious mind. Archetypes are subconscious symbols, retelling humanities struggle with its own existence.
This discussion is further explored through the analysis of Astrology, Norse Mythology, and Odin the Allfather.

Season 3 is titled Living Through Poetry because the season will be framed around walking the listener through the important moments that come with writing a poem.
The first episode is then dedicated to Birth, because before a poem is written, its inception must happen. Why do we write? Why do humans create art? And if art and reality reflect one another, what is art? And what then is reality?
This episode bridges the concept of birth, reality, and the creation of art.
