I am passionate about diversity and as a teacher, I work hard to create safe spaces for queer youth on campus. This episode is a reflection about some of the things I have learned attending workshops and facilitating a Gender and Sexuality Awareness Club (GSA) at my school. I address and explain the following topics: Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Biological Sex, Gender Expression, Conversion Therapy, LGBTQ+ and other Terminology (Pansexual, Two-Spirit, etc.), Cis-Gender, using the word "Queer," Representation in the Media, Allyship, Privilege, and more!
