Miami pulled out the win after Melvin Ingram and Emmanuel Ogbah tackled Isaiah McKenzie in bounds on the game’s final play. The Bills then tried in vein to spike the ball before ultimately running out of time.

The Bills are now 2-1 after dropping their first game of the 2022 campaign.

Mayfield threw for 170 yards, Christian McCaffrey ran for 108 and Shenault had 90 yards receiving as the Panthers (1-2) won at home for the first time since beating the Saints 26-7 on Sept. 19, 2021.

While Mayfield just arrived in Carolina this year, he said ending the losing streak, “is a weight lifted off your shoulders.”

Celtics suspend head coach Ime Udoka for entire 2022-23 NBA season

The Boston Celtics have suspended second-year head coach Ime Udoka for the entire 2022-23 NBA season for a violation of the team’s code of conduct, the organization announced on Thursday night.

Assistant coach Joe Mazzulla will serve as the team’s interim coach in Udoka’s absence. A decision about Udoka’s future with the team, the Celtics said, will “be made at a later date.”

PIT 17 CLE 29Jacoby Brissett threw two touchdown passes, Nick Chubb ran for a score and Cleveland bounced back from its epic meltdown by finishing off the rival Pittsburgh Steelers 29-17 on Thursday night.

“We had the right men in that room to be able to get past it,” Brissett said, “and I think we answered that call. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy. The guys answered the bell.”
