It has been a busy NFL offseason and, above all else, the quarterback carousel is still turning too. When the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Russell Wilson, there was an expectation from the team that he and Kenny Pickett would compete for the starting job. Pickett wasn’t quite as comfortable with that setup and coerced the team into trading him to the Philadelphia Eagles where he’ll certainly be the backup. In other big NFL news, defensive stud Aaron Donald announced his retirement from the league after 10 dominant years.

As the NCAA tournament bracket starts to take shape, programs across the country are already making changes to prepare for next season. At Michigan, Juwan Howard was relieved of his duties after an 8-24 season, and fellow former pro Jerry Stackhouse is out at Vanderbilt too. In the NFL, players that found new homes in the last week are starting to meet the media, including Derrick Henry who talked about his natural fit with the Baltimore Ravens.

With the NCAA basketball tournament just days away from starting, Conference Championship Tournaments are in full swing. In the Big 12, Texas and Kansas suffered brutal losses and have already been bounced. Now the only thing left for the two teams to do is wait for their tournament seeding. Despite the last 48 hours of legal tampering stealing all of the thunder of the NFL player market, free agency is officially here, and team books must be in order before the league year starts. The Los Angeles Chargers pushed things down to the wire, waiting til the last second to get under the salary cap, and releasing Mike Williams in the process to do so. After clearing room of their own, the Denver Broncos are adding to the roster and Sean Payton continues to bring former New Orleans Saints players over. Sticking with the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs restructured Patrick Mahomes’ contract to make quite a bit of room. Still lacking a receiver threat, there are plenty of options still available before the market dries up.

After returning from a quick road trip, the San Antonio Spurs had two games at home to keep the positivity rolling but lost them both, culminating in Tuesday night’s loss to the Houston Rockets. Last night, Kawhi Leonard exited the Los Angeles Clippers contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Leonard experienced thoracic spasms and left the arena, putting his healthy season in doubt, a double-whammy for the Clippers who lost the game as well. Elsewhere in the NBA, MVP front-runners Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic delivered strong performances, but could SGA really pull off the upset?

It isn’t often that the Indianapolis Colts spend big, but the team has opened the checkbook this offseason to keep some of their developed talent. After inking receiver Michal Pittman Jr. to a new contract, the Colts made Kenny Moore II the highest-paid slot CB in the league. Deshaun Watson may not be looking over his shoulder this season as much after the Cleveland Browns elected to sign Jameis Winston instead of bringing Joe Flacco back. Finishing in the NBA, the Kobe Bryant statue that was unveiled last month has some grammatical errors on it and will need to have some work done.

On yesterday’s show, the guys discussed the waning options for Justin Fields. Just a day later, the list of potential suitors got slimmer and the Chicago Bears may have a real problem on their hands now. While the Windy is having quarterback issues, the Dallas Cowboys signal-caller is dealing with some issues of his own. Dak Prescott is reportedly launching a counter-suit against a woman who alleged last month that Prescott sexually assaulted her.
