Despite the last 48 hours of legal tampering stealing all of the thunder of the NFL player market, free agency is officially here, and team books must be in order before the league year starts. The Los Angeles Chargers pushed things down to the wire, waiting til the last second to get under the salary cap, and releasing Mike Williams in the process to do so. After clearing room of their own, the Denver Broncos are adding to the roster and Sean Payton continues to bring former New Orleans Saints players over. Sticking with the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs restructured Patrick Mahomes’ contract to make quite a bit of room. Still lacking a receiver threat, there are plenty of options still available before the market dries up.
