Tim Abromaitis from Tenerife joined The Sports Rabbi to discuss their upcoming Basketball Champions League (BCL) Final 4 semifinal matchup against Hapoel Jerusalem. We spoke about this year’s version of the team that is a powerhouse in the domestic Spanish ACB League while also also looking back at the last few years Abromaitis played in Malaga and Zenit St. Petersburg which was between stints with Tenerife.

The Sports Rabbi and Roy Jankelowitz took a close look at how Maccabi Tel Aviv BC walloped Monaco 104-69 and set up a game 5 back in The Principality on Wednesday in a winner take all game for a ticket to the Euroleague Final Four in Lithuania. We then shift gears to Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and their on pitch troubles as well as the hiring of Ben Mansford to become their new/old CEO after having just been in the same role at Blackpool in Europe.

Finally we spoke about David Blatt and his induction into the Maccabi Tel Aviv Hall of Fame.

The Sports Rabbi and Ben Pask looked back at Maccabi Tel Aviv’s game 3 loss to Monaco as their backs are up against the wall as they ready for game 4 of their Euroleague bets of five quarterfinal series on Thursday.
