Baseball is underway and elbow injuries are one of the more common throwing injuries we typically see. In this episode we will discuss our thoughts on rehab after UCL reconstruction. In 2023 are we really still afraid of open chain knee extension in a controlled rehab setting?  In this episode we will discuss how we use open chain knee extension during rehab. FAI or Femoroacetabular impingement is a hip condition that is common to the sports population. Management for this condition can vary depending on the time of season, severity of injury and particular sport. Scapular Dykinesia, what is it?  The role of the scapula for shoulder motion and function is a big one, and abnormal motion of it can really hinder the performance of any overhead athlete.

In this episode we will discuss Scapular Dyskinesia, and review how we assess and grade it, how we treat it and whether or not it is even important. We will also talk about the importance of the scapula and the role it plays in athletic function and performance.   Let's Go!

TO MOVE OR NOT TO MOVE?
What do we think about early range of motion after upper and lower extremity surgery?   There are benefits to early movement as well as benefit to early immobilization depending on the particular surgery. Listen to hear our thoughts based on our tremendous post-operative experience with patients ranging from shoulder scops to achilles repairs.
