WHAT'S THAT, TWO EPISODES IN ONE WEEK? Ya damn right. I figured since my listeners support me to no end that I would give you guys a little extra this week. Joining me on The Spotlight Series is indy wrestling star "The Bad Apple" Matt Macintosh. If you watch North East indy wrestling odds are you know this man and have seen his work. Me and Matt talk about his first memories of pro wrestling, how he learned about training to become a wrestler and what he is up to in the next few months. Such a talented and awesome guy can't wait to get him back on the show in the future.

I gave you the listener the power to choose what the episode was this week and you chose "Casual Commentary with My Wife". Then I gave you the power to choose what we watched and by the slimmest of margins Okada vs Omega from Wrestle Kingdom 11 had the most votes. Sooo here it is, me and my wife Kerri talking over possibly the greatest pro wrestling match ever. Enjoy. We had fun, that's all that matters right? Back to the interviews next week!

Joining me this week is a up and comer to the IGWC. He has made a lot of strides in the past couple of months and really has bought some refreshing positivity to the community. Me & Rich get a lot of jokes for somewhat resembling one another but who wouldn't want to have a solid beard, great hair and endless pro wrestling knowledge. We had a lot of fun and I hope the shines through in this episode. Enjoy, Ichiban #1!!!

This week on The Spotlight Series we sit down with @NotoriousDAR. This has been a long time coming because Darrian is one of the most vocal supporters of the podcast and on top of that very knowledgable about pro wrestling. We spoke about a lot of different things like how he got into watching wrestling, when he stumbled on to indy wrestling, some of his potential break out stars in 2017 and much more. If you support the community and contribute in a positive way, good things come. So having him on is the embodiment of what I wanted this podcast to mean...support those who support you. Thank you.

Joining me this week on The Spotlight Series is a fellow New Yorker, the BX native @IllinTheBusiness. Me and Brian talk a lot about pro wrestling and I even get some questions in too. This episode shows how two virtual strangers can connect & build a friendship thru the art of professional wrestling. We talk about damn near everything but still easily could have kept recording. Awesome convo. Thank you Brian.

It's 2017...New Year means new content. The Spotlight Series is known for weekly one on one interviews chronicling the pro wrestling fandom of each guest. In addition to the interviews you've come to love I wanted to add another dimension to my podcast. With that motivation in mind I present to you "Smark Remarks". In these episodes me and a guest will tackle one topic and discussion it in depth. For this the debut episode of the segment me & Al (@Elite_Indy_ Fan) breakdown the entire 2016 of Evolve Wrestling. Enjoy. Back next week with another interview.

For the 2016 Spotlight Series Finale I am joined by none other then the former Commissioner of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Dino Winwood. Me and Dino talk about anything and everything here. A lot of laughs and some serious moments too. I had a blast getting to know him and there truly isn't a better way to wrap up this already amazing year then with this episode. Enjoy.
