The Spy-Fi Guys

Going back in time (way back) with 2004's "Troy" starring Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, and a whole bunch of other familiar faces. Warfare and deception makes it fit into a spy movie podcast, and makes for a good introduction to the world of "The Odyssey" currently in theaters.

The epic conclusion to the original Dhurandhar, the story of an Indian spy sent to dismantle Pakistani terror networks. Clocking in at 3 hours and 45 minutes, it's packed full of characters, twists, reveals, betrayals, and action sequences. Currently the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all time, but does it exceed the original? Guest starring Guru.

The World Cup may be over but the soccer action is just getting started with "Final Score," starring Dave Bautista, Ray Stevenson, and (briefly) Pierce Brosnan. Dave stars as Mike, an ex-Special Forces soldier wracked with survivor's guilt who gets caught in a Die Hard situation inside a soccer stadium. Also it takes place in the MCU?

It's an all time World War II classic, "The Great Escape" stars Steve McQueen, Ilya from Man from UNCLE, Flint, and many other actors as POWs trying to escape an escape-proof Nazi prison. The bright visuals and peppy music hide a darker undertone. Part 2 of 2.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Spy-Fi Guys get romantic with "This Means War," a 2012 romantic comedy about two spies (Tom Hardy and Chris Pine) fighting for the affections of an unwitting woman (Reese Witherspoon), violating all professional ethics and friendships in the process. Did we mention it's from 2012?

Sean Bean stars in "Bravo Two Zero" a BBC original movie (and boy, you can tell) about a team of SAS soldiers who infiltrate behind enemy lines in the Gulf War, also known as the Iraq War I, also known as Desert Storm. The mission goes off the rails quickly but there's lots of good action and dialogue.
