The Spy-Fi Guys

James Bond returns to the video game world after more than 10 years (not counting that Cyper 007 mobile game), and The Spy-Fi Guys are back to take a look at the first announcement trailer! The guys discuss the look of the game, the new Bond actor, and what they hope for from the game. Whether or not they will actually have the time or right game systems to play the game is another question altogether.

It's the most divisive Spy-Fi Guys yet as both the characters and the hosts have very different perspectives on similar things. Yes, it's 2002's "I Spy," clearly a product of the early 21st century, starring Owen Wilson as a secret agent and Eddie Murphy as a boxer turned spy. Will they get along and save the day in the process? What do you think?

Never heard of 2012's "Shadow Dancer," starring Clive Owen and Gillian Anderson? Neither had the Spy-Fi Guys, but they found it still worth checking out. In Northern Ireland 1993, a single mother plays both sides of the IRA-British conflict in order to stay alive and protect her son. Currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

Coming straight from the world of "Star Trek: Discovery," it's the long awaited (or dreaded) Section 31 movie starring Michelle Yeoh. The entire Internet has been dunking on this movie for the past two weeks, and now it's the Spy-Fi Guys' turn! The movie is streaming on Paramount Plus.

It feels like a made for TV movie, but it isn't. It's the Fourth Protocol, starring Pierce Brosnan and Michael Caine as spy versus spy with a homemade atomic bomb up for grabs. Does Pierce expand his acting range? Not especially, but he's a great bad guy. Guest starring Chris aka British Bond Addict.

It's back to Midway Island with the remake of the World War II classic, or as Christian calls it "Pearl Harbor 2.5." With this new installment, audiences can thrill to the Pearl Harbor attack (again) and the Doolitte Raid (again) the Battle of Midway (again). The CGI is as rough as the Pacific Ocean, but the characters have heart. Guest starring ZJ.

Possibly the greatest, most iconic James Bond movie of all time, it's Goldfinger starring Sean Connery, Gert Frobe and Honor Blackman! This film has excellent villains, a killer theme song, and an engaging story only marred by some dated portrayals of women. Guest starring Andrew Hammond of the International Spy Museum:

The Spy-Fi Guys return to the world of military intelligence with "Midway," a movie appropriately enough about the Battle of Midway early in World War II. Charlton Heston is a fighter pilot/intelligence chief with a son who wants to marry a Japanese-American woman. Despite this interesting plot turn, the movie tends to focus on the battle itself and not so much the drama. Guest starring ZJ.

It's Global James Bond Day again, October 5th, and to celebrate Christian invites his best friend on to talk space shuttle engineering and NASA history, while Zach struggles to remember one of the goofier entries in the long running 007 franchise. This movie is notable for the return of Jaws, a classic Bond girl with a suggestive name, and a pigeon double taking. Guest starring Kan.
