The Square and The Round

The Square and the Round have just kicked off the new year with topics that everyone loves, politics, sports and time travel. BB Shea and Chris Kelly also try their best to sum up 2023 and talk about some things to look forward to in 2024. BB Shea tries his best to act like he knows what he's talking about as he attempts to discuss politics with Chris Kelly. Then in an amazing sign of aging, both BB and Chris struggle to name all of the big winners in sports in 2023. Who gave these dudes a podcast?

The Square and The Round has officially made it past Christmas, lets see how they fare in 2024. In this post-Christmas episode, BB Shea and Chris Kelly discuss a plethora of different topics as usual. This episode they discuss the staging of the moon landing, celebrity problems and a little bit of politics as well.

BB Shea told Chris Kelly that he was going to see the new Paul Giamatti movie "The Holdovers" so naturally Chris Kelly "hate-watched" it, turns out he didn't hate it. They both give their review of this movie in the new episode of The Square and The Round. They also take time to discuss Christmas, Shohei Ohtani, going pro and BB Shea losing a pound after taking a dump.

I think it's safe to say that Rose Kennedy does have a black dress, why is this relevant? Well you have to watch the podcast to see. In this episode, of The Square and The Round which is not a sports podcast, Chris Kelly and BB Shea talk about the College Football Playoff and how they think it was handled. They also discuss Nerf footballs, recording things you should record and BB Shea gets some retribution as a listener explains how he and BB Shea both had similar experiences in The Joker!

BB Shea tells Chris Kelly that he once had a near death experience in a movie theater, come to find out he was never even close to dying. Oh well! On that note, the rest of this weeks episode is about tattoos, discontinued items and run ins with celebrities.

Is Titanic the greatest movie ever made? BB Shea definitely agrees. Chris Kelly... well he still needs a little convincing. In this episode of the Square and The Round, Kelly and BB take time to discuss The Rolling Stones new tour, Chris Kelly's sit down interview with Garth Brooks and the new ways of higher education!

Coming up on the end of the year and the Anniversary of the JFK Assassination, BB Shea came to the realization that he has no idea what month it is. This obviously threw Chris Kelly for a loop, classic Square behavior. On top of this discussion, BB Shea and Chris Kelly also took time to discuss some sports, major events that happened in 2023 and some new ideas on legislature.

After last weeks episode, Chris Kelly and BB Shea had to get the show back in gear. BB Shea had the idea of playing a new game with Chris Kelly called: One's Gotta Go. BB took all of Kelly's favorite things and made him pick which one he likes the best. Some answers may surprise you, some may not.

And everything in between! In this episode of The Square and the Round, Chris Kelly and BB Shea discuss some true hard hitting topics like tipping, the World Series and most important of all, taking dumps!

At this point, if you are familiar with The Square and The Round Podcast, you can come to expect a few things. Sports, movies, television and food. All of those things are talked about in this episode, then a drastic left turn is taken. Typically in the overrated/underrated segment, BB Shea switched it up and asked Chris Kelly a would you rather question that really came out of nowhere!
