His work spans several decades developing projects in different industries, including music, theatre, contemporary circus and corporate events. Reagan Patrick Mitchell is a faculty member of the  Division of Liberal Arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He is a musician and a theorist focusing on ethnic studies, Black diaspora studies, critical race theory, critical geography and sound studies.
