Keith and Jamie get this long, much-anticipated show going as we discuss why we had an unintentional break...damn you chaos 🐒.

Keith talks about how it was to come back after the break with a monkey running loose.

Jamie, who obviously just did a giant rail, starts chatting about some unexpected client changes over the past month and the work he was doing on Tatsu, leading to some extractions in Juvet. Boring!

Keith and Jamie stop to go on a tangent on pull request sizes. We will probably revisit this next week. Snoozefest!

Talk about barn burners. Jamie gets into timezones and what he built on Slack using Derrick Reimer's ZoneX Elixir package. You may need to pull over while listening to that.

Just when you thought the fun was over, we end with a discussion about siphoning off certain customers for performance issues in a multi-tenant system. Slaying.

Keith chimes in with  how the "Shopify Thanksgiving" code freeze went, as well as how his session on Hotwire went at the internal Ruby Guild™. Keith ends the conversation with some mentoring he is doing with interns at Shopify.
