This week on The Startup Showcase, we shine the spotlight on a long-time creative partner of ours, Alfonso Castaneda. For those who are unaware, our very own Brownimator began his podcasting career as a sound engineer for Alfonso as he created The Football Amateur Show (aka. The FA Show). Since he has done so many interviews and has had a very successful season, we figured it would be best to let him talk about himself for a change. 

We discussed Alfonse's start in podcasting, our tips for growing podcasts, some challenges and other creative members of the podcast community. Also be prepared as Brownimator gives the scoop on what "the thing is". So much energy but so little direction on this one XD

In this week's episode, join your usual match of rambling hosts: Tristen, Chris, and Alfonse, as they shine the spotlight on...the film and streaming industry! In actuality, it's more of a small look into the giant empire that is Disney. Thanks to the success of Marvel and the Avengers' saga, the genre of superhero/action films has been taken to a whole new level. The question now is: where do we go from here? With the pushing of Phase 4 and an emphasis on even BIGGER plans...do we even want it? We discuss those questions and what the future of those genres holds before tangenting off into Disney's new Disney+ streaming service and its potentially damaging impact on Netflix. We also managed to briefly talk about the horror genre...somehow.
