The “tech startup” scene has been rapidly growing in Malaysia over the past few years and has seen numerous exciting home-grown digital products, which have gained great traction and even attracted funds from both local and foreign investors. Government agencies, corporate giants and even community-groups have all supported the startup ecosystem. The StartupHouse brought together 10 designers and developers to live, design and code their apps for 3 months at StartupHouse in Cyberjaya, guided by experienced mentors. As the programme kicks off this month, we speak to the founders of the programme and find out who have been selected and why.
