In today's episode, KCBS Radio political reporter Doug Sovern speaks with Assemblyman Evan Low, Democrat from Campbell, who represents much of the Silicon Valley and South Bay Area. They discuss Gov. Newsom's decision to lift the stay-at-home order and why he felt blindsided by the decision. 

KCBS Radio news anchors Jeff Bell and Patti Reising speak with Jot Condie, president and CEO of the California Restaurant Association. They discuss the reopening of outdoor dining after Gov. Newsom lifted the state's stay-at-home order. 

Most of California remains under Stay At Home orders. The orders are supposed to remain in effect until the state projects that ICUs will have at least 15% capacity four weeks out, but the Sacramento region hasn’t come close to that since the order was lifted there

The Bay Area and two other regions remain under these orders, but the state will not share how it makes these projections.

Now that the inauguration is behind us and the new administration is in place, attention is returning to the second impeachment of President Trump, and his trial in the Senate.

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell suggested today that the trial be delayed until next month, to give House impeachment managers and Mr. Trump’s legal team more time to prepare.
