There is no sign that the Vice President and the Cabinet are going to use the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office, so the House of Representatives is moving forward with another impeachment proceeding

Three members of Congress, led by one from California, have already written up the Articles of Impeachment and plan to introduce them Monday 

Congressman Ted Lieu of Los Angeles co-authored this impeachment, along with colleagues Jamie Raskin and David Cicilline, which calls for the president to be removed for inciting violence against the government of the United States. America is still reeling from yesterday’s armed insurrection at the US Capitol, which disrupted the peaceful transfer of power and left four people dead.

Many members of Congress, including the Speaker of the House and the Senate Minority Leader, are calling for Vice President Pence and the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Trump from office.

Among those members saying it’s time to declare the president unfit, is Representative John Garamendi, a Democrat who represents portions of the North Bay. His 3rd District includes parts of Solano and Lake counties, as well as the Sacramento area and Colusa, Sutter and Yuba counties.
