In Episode 93 of The Steak Lad Experience, I spoke with Melbourne based Real Estate agent Daniel Wolman.
Myself and Daniel go back a long way and initially connected when I was an aspiring Real Estate agent working in the Melbourne CBD.
As the years went by this was a conversation I was wanting to have for a long time, so it was very good to take the time to finally get it done after initially chatting to Daniel about it in mid 2025.
During the podcast we spoke about his longstanding career as an elite commercial real estate agent, how to operate consistently as a high performer in the space, the mindset required to succeed in a cut throat industry, the importance of building long term relationships,
Daniel is a proud Jewish man and has been quite active in the face of recent antisemitism behaviour in Australia which was also discussed during our conversation.
P.s, this might be time to let anyone reading this know that this will likely be the last podcast I do for a while, I have been building my main channel @thesteaklad and it has got to the point where I can no longer balance the podcast.
This wont be the last podcast I do. It is an immense passion… but I have slowly begun to realise that you can do everything you want, just not all at once.
It was a tough decision, but I am sure I will look back on it one day with a smile on my face.

In Episode 92 of The Steak Lad Experience and for the second time, I spoke with my friend Sean Bell.
Myself and Sean initially connected in December 2024 and when I saw he was moving to the Gold Coast, I knew a conversation needed to happen!!!
In the words of Sean, 2025 broke him. He was dealing with a severe injury after his world record run around Australia, broke up with his partner, had a lung collapse and whilst he was in hospital his father passed away.
During the podcast we dove into the impact this had on him, how he dealt with/overcame the associated challenges, why you should never expect life to go the way you expected, his plans for 2026 and much much more.
I love chatting with Sean and as he revealed towards the end of the podcast he is working on a massive project, so I am looking forward to round 3 in due course!!!

For those that dont know, my real name is Darcy Tobin and this is my podcast.
It has been well over a year since I started this endeavour as a side hustle and since then my life has changed entirely for the better.
As my journey has progressed, I have delved further into the minds of the guests who have been on my show and as a consequence have been forced to explore parts of my mind I never have before. This was essentially the inspiration behind me having the guts to have this conversation at a pivotal moment in my life.
This podcast was filmed on the 31st of December 2025 and during this solo episode I delved into parts of my journey I genuinely never thought I would thanks to some thoughtful questions asked by my audience.
As hard it was, I know I will look back on this conversation with a smile on my face as I believe that 2026 is going to be the biggest year of my life to date.
I am genuinely not worried about whether this podcast gets many listens, but if you are reading this at a point in the future I truly hope that I serve as inspiration to keep pushing through whatever it is you are facing at the time.

During our discussion we touched on why 2025 was the best year of his life, how he naturally overcame Crohn’s disease, additional eye opening life events that inspired his current lifestyle, how anxiety/depression helped shape him into the man he is today, the fulfilment he gets from helping others take control of their health and much much more.

in this episode we touched on his competitive nature growing up with four other siblings, how rapidly his respective businesses are progressing, the importance of moving between ambition and gratitude, highlights from his early days, why discipline is more important than motivation, what drives to want more despite already achieving a “relative level of commercial success”, the things he is most proud of from his journey to date and much much more.
After our chat I actually drove Oscar back to his office and on a phone call he described the podcast to someone as something extremely different to anything he had done before and it genuinely reminded me why I do what I do. What an absolute blessing my life has become!

Tom is a fellow creator who founded Time to Build, a step by step playbook to build your personal brand on social media which is a space I am clearly very passionate about.
For those who want a small summary of a chat that went for nearly 2 hours, we discussed what Tom was like during his early childhood, the hidden costs associated with a full time career in social media, his current mindset/reflections on a self described challenging 2025, numerous aspects of his journey to date/how this has allowed him to evolve into the man he is today, the importance of showing up without a reward and much much more.
I have never said this before but there is so much we spoke about that I genuinely struggled to punch out a summary, I think that is when you know it’s been an amazing discussion!!!
Like I said earlier, having the chance to sit down with Tom was a real privilege and I hope anyone listening enjoys it as much I did, I will never take for granted how lucky I am to have conversations like these.
