Jaime Walz Richey, arguably the most decorated female basketball player in Kentucky history, but she's also a mom to young girls, a teacher, and the head basketball coach at Highlands High School.  In her 19th season at the helm of the Bluebirds girls' basketball program, we talk about her playing days at Highlands, Western Kentucky University, her journey into coaching, as well as some of the rewarding parts of mentoring young women.

Mo Egger is the voice we associate with Cincinnati sports.  On air since 2003, Mo has carved a niche in the way we listen to sports talk radio of the Reds, Bengals, Xavier and UC.  His style, work ethic and personality have given him the opportunity to work his way from behind-the-scenes to the forefront on-air talent in a big market.  A fan of Cincy sports teams, his show's relate sports to us in a manner we find entertaining.  His journey to his current roles are no different than the regular person, which is what makes him relatable.

Highlands High School baseball coach, Jeremy Baioni, joins the show to talk about his playing days in two very successful programs while at Highlands, including being a part of a 1996 State Football Championship & back-to-back 9th Region Baseball Championship teams.  We also dig into his coaching career, which has resulted in FOUR straight 9th Region Titles and two state championship game appearances.  Coach Baioni is one of the best to do it in NKY, but also it's most humble.

Episode 27 features Newport High School basketball coach, Rod Snapp.  Coach Snapp grew up in Indiana, where he played in high school for his dad, Jerry.  In college he played at JUCO Sue Bennett before finishing up at Indiana University South Bend.  After college, he spent 10 years at the famed Milan High School, the school featured in the movie Hoosiers, then spent four years at Dixie before getting the head coaching job at Newport.  Rod is one of the rare characters in Northern Kentucky and always entertaining.

Episode 26 features Campbell County Football Coach, Mike Woolf.  Coach Woolf is a graduate of Covington Catholic and Thomas More College, where his playing success garnered him 1st Team All-State and All-American honors.  He has had coaching stops at Covington Catholic, Newport Catholic, Ryle and is in his second stint with the Campbell County football program.  A strong leader with an incredible defensive mind, Coach Woolf has had success everywhere he's been. 

Episode 25 features St. Henry boys basketball coach, Dave Faust.  In his 28 years at St. Henry, Coach Faust is a two-time All 'A' State Champion, a 9th Region Champion, has won over 400 games.  Also, he had tremendous success in his athletic career at Newport Catholic and Thomas More, where he has been inducted to the Hall of Fame at both institutions.  The model of loyalty, Coach has built a fantastic career on hard work and dedication to the players and students in the St. Henry community.  Enjoy!

Episode 24 features 2004 Newcath grad, Michael Zimmerman, who was a basketball great for the Thoroughbreds before going on to play at Park University in Missouri.  After his playing days, Michael went to the UC College of Law and is currently an Assistant Commonwealth Prosecuting Attorney in Campbell County.  Michael is a fighter for the people in his community, the same as he was in his playing days.  An awesome and impressive young man.  Enjoy!

Episode 23 features the FOX19 NOW sports team, who come on to talk about the return of sports, their limitations while covering the Reds and the Bengals, their experiences at Reds games,  as well as the expectations and excitement to soon be covering high school sports.  Jeremy and Joe are the best at what they do and cover the game in a manner that is unmatched in our local sports market.  This episode shows their true personalities and what has made them the go-to spot for sports information.

Episode 22 features Mason County Royal and Tennessee Volunteer, Chris Lofton.  Chris is one of the most decorated basketball players to come out of Kentucky in the last 25 years.  In his time at Mason County, he played on three regional championship teams; was a state champion, a state runner-up and Mr. Basketball in 2004.  After high school, he went on to play at The University of Tennessee, where we was a two time All-American, SEC Player of the Year, as well as playing in three NCAA Tournaments.  Since college, he has had a successful professional career overseas, including winning a championship in France.  On top of being an outstanding basketball player, Chris is a very humble person.  Give it a listen!

Episode 21 features Boone County Head Football Coach, Bryson Warner.  Bryson is a 1992 graduate of Boone County High School, who then went to play football at WKU where he earned All-American honors.  Coach Warner began coaching at Ryle in 1997, then again at Thomas More College in 2001   before taking over the Ryle program in 2003, where he eventually led the 2006 Raider team to the state championship.  He spent 11 years as head coach at Ryle and then assisted Eddie Eviston for the 2017 & 2018 seasons at Covington Catholic before returning home to take over the Boone County Rebel program in 2019.  Bryson is fantastic leader and an awesome dude.  Enjoy!
