Spring of 1803, after the United States acquired the Louisiana Territory, two men set out with a crew of roughly 33 men to see what the country had purchased. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark would captain a group of hunters, trappers, and would be mountain men on this journey. In the third part of our series on the expedition, Sacagawea has a baby, the Corps fights off hunger and sickness while encountering new native tribes, and push their way further across the country. Let's put one in the air and continue our tale of the Corps of Discovery.

Along with a native Shoshone woman who helped the party immensely. Come chill with me and hear part two of the Corps of Discovery's journey.

Ever wonder where music came from in the first place ? Why we sing ? Music gets deep or not deep at all depending on the sound and how we feel at the time. I played in a few bands when I was younger and it has always been very important to me, but I never looked into how it evolved in the first place. Most of this is tame enough but like all topics if you dive deep enough can get a little weird. Let's chill a bit and talk about it on today's evolutionary audio exploration.

Time to relax and hear a tale... Where did Alexander come from and what made him so great? Some say his father, and I second that notion. Phillip II took his people from near extinction to Greece's first great empire! He was a great diplomat but he also kicked a lot of ass to get there. At that time kicking ass was the most popular way of getting things. Not too different than today. Let's learn about Alexander's pops during today's sesh.

After reading Terrance McKenna's book "Food of the Gods" it gave me a lot to think about and even more to say. The Stoned Ape Theory has fascinated me since I fist heard about it. Not that I completely agree with all that he hypothesises I do think it is an interesting idea and good attempt at thinking outside the box about how early man came to be. Or could have. It's more of a what if than an actual theory but an exciting what if. Let's relax, smoke one, and talk about why we are the way we are... Looking into what possibly could have jumpstarted mankind as we know it today.
