This episode officially has the longest title. Maybe that's fitting since we're almost at our one year anniversary for the podcast, or maybe that's a flimsy excuse and the editor is just too high to actually be editorial. (editors note: this is true)

 Mauna Loa is erupting in Pele's land of Hawai'i and Laylla takes us to a haunted house in the Kaimuki neighborhood of Oahu. Is this haunting caused by an ancient Japanese demon? A poltergeist? Is it one house that is haunted or many?

Chelle discovers a tradition of Christmas time ghost stories going back to Victorian times and reveals hints of this tradition are hidden in plain sight.  Then she talks about Santa's dark twin, Krampus. Who is this mysterious figure and what is his place in Christmas folklore?

Solo Witchy tales about the mysterious missing person case of Bryce Laspisa who disappeared August 30th 2013. Where did he go? Why did a 6 hour drive take him over 24 hours? Did he crash intentionally? There are more questions than answers.

This Thanksgiving week we are thankful for our listeners, weed, and journals apparently.

Hang out with out witches as they smoke some of the finest cannabis in the USA, or at least someone does. Chelle keeps it local after her Halloween hangover and her frightful tale stays in Massachusetts chasing a cryptid known as The Dover Demon. A renowned cryptozoologist says it was real and not an alien. What was it and why was it only seen in a 48 hour time frame and then never again?

Laylla smokes her less than stellar homegrown and talks Yule, witch balls, and one of her favorite Youtubers, Wonderhussy. She does eventually get to her ghost story for the week and takes use to Nevada and the haunted Yellow Jacket mine. 35 miners lost their lives and 11 were never recovered. Their ghosts are said to haunt the mine and the nearby Gold Hill Hotel to this day

Our episode this week takes the witches to New Jersey and The mystery of The Watcher house. Who or what is watching the house in Westfield, New Jersey?  Despite intensive searches, no human culprit has been identified. Listen in as Laylla reads the letters that were sent to the Broaddus family and the witches discuss who could be behind this creepy mystery. Is it another Amityville horror let down? Or is a supernatural entity behind  the letters. And what the heck is in the walls???

The mighty high witches then travel to Bluefield West Virginia and the abandoned, and very haunted, Lake Shawnee Amusement Park. The death of one child is a tragedy that could shut down any park, this one had SIX deaths in a short period of time. Then the truly terrifying history comes to light. Is the land cursed? Did the amusement park builder set it up knowing the curse and the potential outcome?

Until then we figure out when the heck Samhain really is, learn about a pumpkin head cryptid at the intersection of 215 and 90 in Riverside, AND we have some UAPs (formerly known as UFOs) in the news and the US  government AGAIN admitting they covered shit up. Chelle found a pilot in the news that has noticed a huge increase in UAP sightings lately, particularly around Ursa Major, the constellation also known as The Big Dipper. What could it mean???

Riverside California is home to one of the oldest, most haunted hotels in California, as well as one of the most beautiful, The Mission Inn. Boasting numerous design styles, this gorgeous hotel, museum, and at least 6 distinct restaurants (and a couple talking parrots) you are sure to find artistic, and ghostly, delights around every corner!

What ghostly tales lurk in sunny California? Just how many ufos are flying around the USA? Just what Tarot deck has Chelle purchased lately? We return to our regularly scheduled....oh wait no we don't. Samhain and Halloween weekend JUST happened. Chelle, our resident Salem witch, is more than a little wiped out by the festivities and some potent Boo Berry weed.

Thankfully the weather is balmy, the vibe is blissful, and everything is easier in Southern California so Laylla takes over this week with a creepy urban legend out of Texas about mysterious kidnappings and a tall tale that will have you inspecting your next piece of trick or treat candy a little more closely.

Happy Samhain!

In this last (for October 2022 anyway) Salem episode the witches discuss Giles Corey and the many legends regarding the site of his execution and burial. Was it near the Witch Dungeon? Was it outside Sheriff Corwin's house? Do the mysterious large boulders on Gallows Hill hold a clue? 

Chelle and Laylla also get high and reminisce about their favorite shops, smoke spots, and tours they wish they had time to take. As for fave locations, The Witch Board Museum will always be on the list (even if we didn't mention it this episode!)

Where were the victims of the Salem Hysteria actually hung?
In one of our final Salem episodes the Highest Witches head to Gallows HiIl and the Proctor's Ledge Memorial to answer this most pressing (sorry, Giles!) of questions.

And then, to even the witch's surprise, they craft a spirit board and head out at midnight to an un-named spot on Gallow's Hill to try and see who answers....

Our East and West Coast Witches are in the midst of Haunted Happenings in Salem Massachusetts! Laylla & Chelle are in a friendly competition to see who can spot more Sanderson Sisters first. Laylla is in the lead (barely) with 27!

This episode brings them to The Salem Witch Board Museum at 127 Essex ST. Salem, MA (located inside Remember Salem) and curator John Kozik, who is also a founding member of the Talking Board Historical Society. 

If you are lucky enough to be in Salem, tear yourself away from Borah, and Satan, and Hubie Halloween, and Jack Skellington and all the other sights this ol' witch town has to offer, and spend some time in this museum! Floor to ceiling there are spirit boards, memorabilia, and delights on every inch. Bonus points if you get a chance to speak to Kozik himself. He is also available for lectures and speaking engagements!
