Hey Riders and Stormers! This is Baz again with another podcast episode. This is a story of mine from inside the classroom. This story is all about how we perceive things, and how the alternative perception can create success. As always, it’s also a story of failure in success. Sometimes we have a small success but we’re part of a larger system that is failing stakeholders in some way.
In this episode I talk about education, art teaching, shamanism, classrooms, kids, punishment, trickery, and schools.

Thanks for listening to this episode on Sufis and Jedi and please like, subscribe, and check out more articles. I’m a person who’s walked in lots of different circles and come to understand many different modes of human experience. My writing is always about drawing connections between different things. Making connections is my favorite way of learning because you get to feel that there are common undercurrents in all our experiences, even if the expressions and languages differ, and it’s important to question whether all forms of creativity are divinely inspired and interlinked to our spiritual traditions, in one way or another.
Here’s some of the cool artwork I generated on the topic of this Episode.
Hey there storm readers! What’s up! I’m sharing in podcast form my articles: Navajos and Nubians Part 1 and 2
I splashed through talking about English, teaching, the days of the week in 3 languages, World War 2, the 6th of October War, Indigenous languages of Egypt, and linguistic standardization
Let me know what you thought about this podcast and if you have any suggestions for future ones.

In this cast I live edit and clean up my article on the Klingons and the Transatlantic view of the Middle East. I wrote an interesting article about the idea that Star-Trek captures how “the west” sees people like me.
But I also write about how the “West” isn’t by itself western civilization, because the Middle East is a crucial part of western civilization and western history, so we need another name to talk about the post-colonial cultures of Europe/North America - not limited to those geographies of course. I term this cultural phenomenon - The Transatlantic. So we can stop calling America the west, and Palestine the East, because they’re both western. To differentiate, we call Americans and French the Transatlantic, and we call Arabs the original westerns, along with Egyptians, Persians, Ethiopians, and Greeks, Carthaginians, and Turks, while the rest of the western civilizations rose later. Here’s the full article.
Thanks for reading The Storm Writer! This post is public so feel free to share it.
I’d love to hear what you think! How were you taught about “the West”? What themes stood out to you? Let me hear your voice!
